"First time staying here. It is clear the hotel is undergoing major upgrading and there is information in the rooms to reflect that. Would be helpful to have that on the website too (sorry if already there and missed) just to manage expectations. Room was lovely and staff very friendly and bent over backwards (special shoutout to Ruby). I understand why £100 deposit is being taken but do think this will be putting a lot of families off staying esp when there are so many competing hotels...
