"My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. We had a spacious room with traditonal Japanese tea side, within walking distance to a lot of the main Kyoto temples and shrines. The bussling city center is about a 15 minute walk. The hotel has a coin washer/dryer and nearby convenience stores. The staf was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel."

"Really impressed with our stay here. The room was huge and far more spacious than we expected, as well as beautifully presented and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and went out of their way to assist us, even patiently persevering with a translation app to make sure we understood everything and had what we needed. Such lovely service and it made a big difference to our experience. The only slight downside was the carpet had a few stains, however the room...

"Great location for visiting Kyomizu and Gion areas. Spacious apartment with a mixture of traditional and modern Japanese interior. Friendly owner but a bit difficult to communicate with he in English. The check-in and check-out procedures are done online at the front desk and seem unnecessary. The check-in time is too late at 16:00. It should start at 14:00. "

"Great place to stay if you want to experience local style living in a very central area of Kyoto. Comfortable property with great amenities. The only issue we experienced was some difficulty accessing the unit with the access code provided and related support only available within business hours and only through the Line communication app. Overall highly recommended accomodation for an authentic and relaxing stay in Kyoto."
