I really don’t think we’ve had many better breakfasts; it’s really first rate and full of caring. Have it in the thatched roof pavilion down on the water. "Hotel Aero is a traditional Danish hotel that seems frozen in time since the days of sail. Helpful, friendly staff who almost all speak English. Clean, comfortable and in close proximity to central Svendborg. The food is excellent and very Danish - the freshly cooked and prepared breakfast buffet is a particular highlight. This was the third time we have stayed there and it just gets better and better. Highly recommended and a cut above bland, modern hotels"

"We spent a night at the hotel during a quiet weekend. It is a big conference hotel with large spaces, so we felt at first a bit intimidated by the sheer interior surface. However, we enjoyed the spa, the brasserie, the rich breakfast with a view on the sea as well as our nice room with a view on the garden."
