The city of Mérida is beautiful but sometimes a bit hectic and noise. The answer was to step through the front door of Mansión Mérida and be transported to a zen-like atmosphere of tranquility. The owner was warm and welcoming and the staff were superb. Mansión Mérida ranks at the top of our list."

"The single room was very small but smartly outfitted with clothes hooks, outlets and lighting. The bathroom took up half the room so was a good size. Air conditioning and wifi were great. The door technology was quite impressive and unexpected, but a very nice touch. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Pool was also quite nice but could have been cleaned more often due to the dead insects floating on the surface."

"This hotel was 'fine' for a single person mostly spending my vacation outside. The gentleman I checked in with was friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. Everyone else I encountered who worked at the hotel seemed miserable and standoff-ish. Wifi wasn't great, in fact on my last night it didn't even work. Shower pressure is pitiful, but it got the job done. "
