When the beach is calling your name, you might want to head down to Nungwi Beach— one of the most popular seaside spots located 0.4 mi (0.6 km) from central Nungwi. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Kendwa Beach.
If you like strolling among the stalls, you might want to head out to Jemaa el-Fnaa in Medina for some quality bargains. You could also start your cultural experience by heading over to the museums in the area. Splash some more cash at Souk of the Medina, Souk Semmarine, and Rahba Kedima.
Imagine strolling along Port of Tangier for some great waterfront pics. It's located 0.6 mi (1 km) from central Tangier.
If you carry on walking you'll get to Tangier Ferry Terminal, Tangier Beach, and Tanja Marina Bay for some more water views.
"Good stay at Taj Cape Town. Excellent breakfast at Mint. Stayed in a suite. Great view of the mountain. Good bathroom size. Enjoyed the facilities.
Only downside was that they didn't make up our room the one day. Called Housekeeping when we got back at 16h30. After a second call, they only sent someone at 18h30. This was a major downer. Expected better service than this."
"Le Riad Monceau is located in the middle of a warren of streets in Marrakech and is not directly accessible by car. Their staff moved our luggage for us through the narrow streets, so that was not a problem. If you're looking for a modern style hotel with a pool and elevators to your room, look elsewhere. If you want something that feels like a genuine Moroccan experience located right in the middle of the market area, then it is an excellent choice.
Inside it is something of a warren, but that makes it more interesting. Our room was on the top floor - below the rooftop restaurant kitchen - so up a few flights of stairs. Thankfully, the staff moved our bags for us. The rooftop restaurant closes at 11PM and so our room was noisy until 11:30 each night. That wasn't a problem for us, but could be for others. The downstairs restaurant has the same hours and is known for a jazz band, though they were on vacation during our visit in August, High season is in the spring, and we noticed a few businesses that were closed.
Breakfast is taken in the downstairs restaurant, in the open courtyard surrounding a small pool that seems to be for decoration rather use. The menu is fixed - croissant, tea or coffee, Madeira cake and eggs. We dined in both the restaurants, and found them good quality and competitive with other hotel restaurants.
We booked some tours through the hotel, which were good value. They offer local knowledge and customization: the staff were very helpful."
"I booked this for my daughter. Thank you so much for making the room beautiful for her and setting up a cake and balloons for her 21st. I am very grateful and she loved every minute of her stay."
"Pour notre 1er voyage à Marrakech ce Riad nous a complètement charmé. Il est à la fois très beau, très agréable, bien placé pour les visites de la médina et le personnel y a été agréable. Les petits déjeuners typiques et variés proposés tous les matins sont très bons et le dîner au restaurant était également délicieux !
Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir."
"Outstanding staff and great, old world hotel.”Delicious, bespoke breakfasts set the tone for an excellent experience.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

"Very nice Riad it was a beautiful place and very well kept. The host was very friendly helping and accommodating. It was very well situated. Yes it is tucked away through a small alley but its very easy to get to once you have google maps. They have a private parking that is 5 minutes walk away from the Riad. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was lovely on their beautiful terrace. The helpers were also very polite and accommodating. Would highly recommend."
