Where To Stay in Benidorm - From Poniente Beach to the Old Town

Hotel search

Benidorm's iconic skyline hints at the variety of accommodation that the city offers visitors. From luxury spa hotels to budget apartments, most of the rooms in town are within walking distance of one of Benidorm's main beaches. If you want plenty of dining and nightlife options, the Old Town and Levante Beach are your best bets. For a more relaxed vibe, choose the western end of Poniente Beach.

Old Town

Travelers looking to experience Benidorm’s pulse and be in the thick of things should look for accommodation in the very heart of the city. This neighborhood is just minutes away from both Levante and Poniente beaches, not to mention the secluded Mal Pas cove. Tourists staying in the Old Town will find themselves surrounded not only by the city's main historical sites, but also by a wide variety of shops, supermarkets, and traditional Spanish dining options.

What the Old Town offers in cultural flair, it lacks in physical space. Travelers opting to stay in the heart of the city will find mainly seafront hotels, small guest houses, and self-catering accommodation, such as apartments and studios.

Rincón de Loix

The area located in the northeastern corner of Benidorm is a true British haven. Pubs and English eateries abound, and the vibe is definitely international. Many of the neighborhood's businesses are run by expats, making English the dominant language in the area. Levante Beach lies south of the neighborhood, and most of Benidorm's water parks are in the vicinity.

Although close to all the action, Rincón de Loix is still a fairly large area. As such, it houses a wide range of accommodation; from all-inclusive hotels to family-friendly apartment complexes.

Levante Beach

Behind the city's eastern beach of Levante, there is a vibrant area full of shops, cafes, and bars. If you're looking to be a hop away from the sand while not missing out on anything, this is your spot. During the day, you'll have plenty of dining options, and when the sun goes down, Benidorm's buzzing nightlife will engulf you.

There are several beachfront hotels on Levante Beach. In the neighborhood sprawling inland, travelers will find a variety of family-friendly hotels as well as large holiday condos.

Poniente Beach

For travelers in search of a quieter setting within the bustling city, the southwestern tip of Poniente Beach is a safe bet. Within walking distance of the water - and just under 4 km from the Old Town - this area is historically considered a hub for Spanish holidaymakers.

Home to one of Benidorm's tallest skyscrapers, this tranquil side of town houses mostly large hotels. As in the rest of the city, there are also countless condos and apart-hotels.
