Traveling around the county is relatively easy so if you find accommodation that you like, the chances are it won’t be far from the attractions you plan on visiting. From sea-view hotels on the West Coast to leisurely hotels in the South, there’s enough choice to make your stay comfortable.

If you’re staying in the area then you’re in luck, as one of County Clare’s best rated hotels can be found here. The Old Ground is in the perfect location for visiting the area and provides guests with free parking and breakfast. If you’re traveling with children, Auburn Lodge Hotel has a swimming pool and leisure center making it a good value for money option. Budget hotels include the Ashford Court and Banner Lodge Hotel, both in a great location.

 

North Clare

 

The perfect retreat can be found here at Gregans Castle Hotel, a multi-award winning establishment offering genuine Irish hospitality and boasting stunning views across Galway Bay. For open fires and a sense of tranquillity, Hylands Burren Hotel prides itself on having a team with a ‘nothing is too much’ attitude, meaning customer service is their top priority.  Falls Hotel & Spa offers breathtaking views, top quality food and a swimming pool for guests to wind down in. Ennistynon also has a handful of B&Bs such as Deerpark House and Hillbrook Farm, both with excellent ratings.

 

South Clare

 

If you’re looking for somewhere close to the airport, Shannon has a beautiful hotel called the Oak Wood Arms. With free breakfast and a relaxing spa this is the perfect place to unwind whilst being close to all of the events. Bunratty Castle Hotel offers guests a swimming pool, elegant rooms and a fantastic breakfast where guests are truly spoilt for choice. There is also a budget B&B available close to the Durty Nelly’s pub with spacious bedrooms and private en-suites.

 

East Clare

 

In the town of Killaloe is Lakeside Hotel, perfect for a family or romantic holiday as it has a swimming pool and is set close to a lake. There are a number of B&Bs in the area from Glocca Morra to Carramore Lodge and Laurels B&B to Augill House. There is also the Lady Gregory Hotel in Gort, with wheelchair access, room service and a swimming pool where staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.

 

West Clare

 

If you’re visiting the Cliffs of Moher, they’re only a stone’s throw from the Ballinalacken Castle Country House which offers panoramic views of the Aran Islands and an award-winning restaurant. Aran View House Hotel is close to the beach and serves fresh scones and tea in the bar every evening in the hope of providing their guests with the warmest welcome. Vaughan Lodge in Lahinch is a small hotel with a seafood restaurant, spacious rooms and excellent customer service during their opening times of March to October.
