City Bowl
City Bowl captivates with its mountain-meets-history charm. Table Mountain looms above colonial buildings where cobblestone streets wind through Cape Malay neighborhoods with candy-colored houses. Museums tell South Africa's complex story while Company's Gardens offers leafy respite from urban buzz. The Castle of Good Hope's ochre walls stand as a reminder of Cape Town's colonial past. MyCiTi buses connect major spots every 15 minutes, making car-free exploration a breeze. Dining options range from spice-scented Bo-Kaap curry houses to trendy Kloof Street bistros. Boutique hotels in Victorian buildings provide character-filled stays with stunning mountain views.

Sea Point
Sea Point's stunning oceanfront promenade steals the show with endless Atlantic views and outdoor fun. Joggers hit the path at dawn while families claim sunset-watching spots on benches scattered along the coastline. The lively Main Road corridor serves up everything from casual sidewalk cafés to upscale seafood spots, all just steps from Milton Beach and the iconic saltwater swimming pools. Getting around couldn't be easier with frequent MyCiTi buses connecting to downtown and the V&A Waterfront. Most visitors stay in stylish self-catering apartments housed in Art Deco buildings or boutique hotels with dramatic ocean views. The promenade's exercise stations and tidal pools make this Cape Town gem perfect for active travelers.

Green Point
Green Point pairs stunning ocean views with sporty energy that keeps you on your toes. Kick back at Green Point Urban Park or catch a match at Cape Town Stadium, where the bowl-shaped design wows even non-sports fans. The Sea Point Promenade invites you to jog, cycle, or just people-watch with the Atlantic's waves crashing nearby. Dining options range from upscale seafood spots to trendy cafés with mountain views. Hotels and guesthouses offer ocean panoramas, though at premium prices. The neighborhood is wonderfully walkable, with MyCiTi buses running frequently if your feet need a break.

Camps Bay
Affluent suburb with a picturesque bay, Camps Bay offers a variety of beaches, including the popular Camps Bay Beach and Glen Beach for surfing. Explore the open-air curio market at Koeël Bay and enjoy picnics at Oudekraal, all near hotels, restaurants, and shops.

Woodstock
Woodstock buzzes with creative energy as Cape Town's artsy heartbeat. Once industrial, now it's packed with galleries, design studios, and the Old Biscuit Mill's weekend markets. Street art splashes across warehouse walls while Whatiftheworld gallery showcases contemporary African talent. The neighborhood keeps its multicultural soul with Cape Malay, African, and European influences in both architecture and food. Craft breweries, hip coffee shops, and eclectic eateries fuel your exploration between murals and vintage shops. Getting around is easy with MyCiTi bus routes and two metro stations—Esplanade and Woodstock—connecting you to greater Cape Town. Most spots are within a 10-minute walk of each other in this walkable artistic haven.

Cape Town and related destinations
Between the iconic flat-topped Table Mountain and the swirling Atlantic, a city of contrasts awaits. Take the cable car up for views that explain why locals never leave, then wander the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood where spice-scented air drifts from centuries-old buildings. The V&A Waterfront combines shopping with harbor views and the excellent Two Oceans Aquarium. History buffs shouldn't miss Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, or the poignant District Six Museum. When hunger strikes, the Old Biscuit Mill transforms into a weekend food market that locals consider mandatory attendance. Nearby Stellenbosch offers world-class wineries amid dramatic mountain backdrops.

Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport
"Very service oriented staff, from meeting the airport shuttle to checking in and the breakfast and checking out was great. Standard king room was everything we needed for an overnight rest before continuing on our travels."
Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town
"Beautiful, clean, lovely staff. Careful of the seagulls if eating breakfast outside, and the bar closes at 10.30pm so order ahead if you want anything after being out for dinner etc."
The Rockefeller Hotel by NEWMARK
"Tuvimos una buena experiencia."
Road Lodge Cape Town International Airport
"Excellent accommodation but there is unfortunately no shuttle service from the airport. A taxi is therefore required. That can be quite expensive."
InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town by IHG
"Location was unbeatable. The hotel is directly connected to the mall and also within walking distance of the Oranjezicht City Farm Market, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The whole surrounding vicinity felt safe, and the views from the hotel were stunning. With Table Mountain in the background, we even caught a rainbow while having breakfast by the window overlooking the wharf — such a memorable way to start the morning. If I were to nitpick, I would suggest going down earlier for breakfast if you want to enjoy the spread at its freshest. Perhaps because we were there on weekdays and turnover was lower, some items felt like they had been sitting out for a little while when we went later in the morning. Nothing major, but worth keeping in mind. The room itself was comfortable and well appointed, and we particularly appreciated how easy the hotel made our stay. Between the waterfront location, the views and the convenience of having the mall right next door, it was a very easy base for exploring Cape Town without feeling removed from the city. Overall, I would happily stay here again, particularly for a first visit to Cape Town. The location really is the standout — convenient, scenic and in an area where we felt comfortable walking around."
Holiday Inn Express Cape Town City-Centre by IHG
"Excellent hotel at a really great price centrally located in downtown Cape Town the breakfast was really good. Lots of options and really was delicious. Everything was great."
Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa
"Convince and helpful staff"
City Lodge Hotel Victoria And Alfred Waterfront
"Happy all round, will book with them again"
Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore
"Excellent Stay at the Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore. Room was nice and spacious! Breakfast was delicious and the restaurants for dinner were great. It was great to be 5 minutes from V&A Waterfront as we utilized the shuttle to get to and from tours. Great view of Table Mountain at the rooftop. Overall, great stay and the staff were all amazing! Would definitely recommend staying at the Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore when visiting Cape Town South Africa!"
