Between cobblestones and spires, Main Market Square buzzes with life as horse-drawn carriages clip-clop past the Renaissance Cloth Hall. Inside, the Gallery of 19th Century Polish Art showcases national treasures worth lingering over. Wawel Castle looms magnificently on its hill – arrive early to avoid queues for the royal apartments and dragon's den below. After history overload, find respite in Jordan Park's greenery or splash at Park Wodny's pools. Town Hall Tower offers city views that explain why photographers crowd the square at golden hour. Little Market Square provides a quieter alternative when the main plaza overwhelms. For evening entertainment, cellar restaurants serve pierogi beneath medieval vaulted ceilings, often with live folk music.

Aparthotel Best Views Luxury
"Rooms were very clean and tidy and no complaints on the property itself or staff - for us personally, I did feel like it was quite a way out but we were aware of the location and this is due to no fault of the hotel. Only concerns we had - we logged the safe didn’t work, the team tried a few times on the night of arrival but in the end as we had been travelling all day from 3am (this was now 9pm) we asked them to come back and try tomorrow - which they did no problem. We came back to the safe being left open for reset but again nothing worked. the issue was never resolved so we had nowhere secure to store money and passports other than on us. The only other minor thing was we like to wind down with the tele on for back ground noise and the tv didn’t work in the bedroom due to the remote I think as the tv unit it did have a power light on . This was late at night we realised this and didn’t want a 2nd night in a row having to try and fix an issue when your ready for bed. Again nothing detrimental but for a 5 star place to have 2 key items not work, I do not feel 5 star review was warranted. 4 - 4.5 defo!"
Metropolitan Boutique Hotel
"From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was spotless and they were so helpful showing us on the map where we had to go. Would not hesitate to stay again when we return to Krakow."
Aparthotel Stare Miasto
"Muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad la habitación súper bien y una vez que termine la remodelación el hotel será notable"
Betmanowska Main Square Residence Adults Only
"Second time staying here and it is a wonderful hotel we had the suite on the 4th floor again. You have so much space, 3 showers two double jacuzzi baths. Mini bars that are restocked daily. Also a free bottle of prosseco on arrival. Its located on the market square you could not get any closer . Breakfast is amazing both cooked and continental. Also free vodka at breakfast if you fancy it."
Wyndham Grand Krakow Old Town
"This hotel was beautiful. The room was immaculate. They had robes and slippers, fully stocked mini fridge, towel warmer. The staff were so helpful and spoke English. We didn't have time to enjoy the spa/pool area but it was stunning. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and there is a restaurant attached to the hotel that had the best pasta I have ever had. The hotel was also a short 15 minute walk from the airport and to the train station which was important for us. We only stayed 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever go back to Krakow we will definitely stay here."
Amber Design Residence
"The hotel is in an excellent location close to the main square but easy access to all key sightseeing spots. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They helped me with a gluten free lunch box when I had a long day trip."
Hyatt Place Krakow
"Real chaos during breakfast. Missing products. Dirty tables. Lot to improve"
MILESTONE Krakow Center Student Living by Tribera
"Great property, slightly noisy at night but it’s a student accommodation but nothing to worry about"
Radisson Blu Hotel, Krakow
"Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Great stay."
