I have stayed here before breakfeast service has declined but still good value for room. Little disruptive to have hotel's family standing around arguing while you were trying to eat breakfeats. Maybe thats how breakfeast goes in India. but I did not enojy it.”
Stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express Newark. Everything at the hotel was great (especially the breakfast). The area looks a little rough. I must admit that I was a little worried as we drove through the area we had to in order to get to the hotel, but we had no problems. I was very impressed with the free breakfast. That may be standard for HIE hotels, but it was really an upgrade from some of the other places I have stayed at that have breakfast included.”
The hotel was easy to access and the lobby and breakfast areas were attractively appointed. There were many restaurants from which to choose within driving distance. The rooms were clean and obviously newly refurbished but a little on the small side. The desk management didn't seem to be very comfortable in dealing with people as if they were new to the job. The breakfast was the typical of chain hotels. Nothing special but good enough for no additional cost. I would choose to stay here again.”

Nice. Staff very friendly. Very quiet. Not quite sure about the extra fee (reimbursed if all ok), but understand - we have to pay for the "bad apples" that brought this fee on. Breakfast ok - nice area to sit. I would recommend this place & would stay again if needed.”
Hotel we fine for a business traveller and the front desk staff were very good. the executive room was good and large and very quiet. I slept fantastically. The bar looked a bit deserted, as did downtown wilmington, and the pool is quite utilitarian - and i can not comment on the hotel food as i did not have any - though the complimentary hot cookie at check in was delicious. Taxi from philly airport was approx $65 and took approx 30mins.”
We were very satisfied with our 3-night stay at the Henlopen. Our bathroom could have been a bit larger, although it was recently renovated and was clean. Our second-floor room overlooked the plaza and we had an indirect view of the ocean. It would have been nice to have access to a fitness facility as was advertised, but there was conflicting info from the front-desk staff on availability. WiFi service not included ($9.99/day). Wasn't too thrilled about that. Overall a more than satisfactory experience.”
I stayed for a weekend and loved this hotel. It is within walking distance of the beach, and a short drive from the outlets and other attractions. The room was clean and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The free breakfast was a nice addition too. The staff were all friendly, and we had a great time.”
We usually stay at a family beach house in North Bethany. This time we wanted to just be by ourselves with the opportunity to leave the car in the parking lot and walk to our heart's content all over Rehoboth. We had a great time. The motel provides basic services -- comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, but no frills. We didn't miss them. It felt great to return from the beach, restaurant, or store, and reach the motel so quickly. We are likely to return there in the future.”
room was clean and very comfortable. there was some construction going on in the lobby and the breakfast was moved up to the third floor in a room. We checked it out, but decided to go elsewhere. We understood from the Manager that the construction was to be finished in a few days. I'm sure by now everything is in place and as great as the room was.”
The location of the hotel for the Firefly music Festival was fabulous. We liked the little garden Courtyard. The Box springs on the beds were pretty much hollow making the bed not the most comfortable. The daily cleaning of the rooms wasn't very thorough. But for the price we paid for the location we wanted was fabulous.”
We were very pleasantly surprised by our recent stay at the Holiday Inn. The entire hotel staff was consistently friendly and helpful. In particular, there was a young lady working the hotel lobby cafe, who was very friendly and efficient. All in all, we were immensely satisfied with our stay.”
