Great hotel, great staff, room was really great. Awesome location - 5 min by taxi to Pepsi Center. Bar/grill in hotel has over 100 beers on tap. We also had 1/2 price appetizer, seared Ahi tuna,,,YUMMY only tuna I ever met that I liked! Will stay at Sheraton again, if my travels ever take me to Denver, CO”
Very comfortable, the front counter staff was very friendly, it has been a pleasure to stay in a hotel that is 100% smoke free and they seem to inforce it. The gym and pool are well equipped. Hotel is located south off Denver, about 8 mile. Tourist counter is well equipped as well, only disapointing thing about our stay was that there was no snow”
I had to have my key card reactivated everyday. The first morning, I went down to get breakfast, go back to the room and had to carry all my food back down to the lobby to get the key reactivated. The TV remote didn't work properly, they said they would have management look at it, it must have gotten locked out for some features.Breakfasts could have been a little better. Weird egg thingys. Room was comfortable and quiet. Would probably stay again.”
Very nice room. Nice area. Beautiful view. Staff at front desk very pleasant and helpful. Loved the make-up mirror in the separate vanity, but could have used an extra wastebasket. Maid service a bit disappointing--did not replace dirty drinking glasses each day. But otherwise would consider staying there again.”
Very good hotel. Our one complaint would be that when we came down to have a drink at the bar, it was closed at 11pm. We were frustrated/disappointed. We had been out at an event and then rather than going to a local bar, we thought it would be very convenient and comfortable to just have a drink in the hotel bar, but were unable to do so. We would suggest that the bar remain open longer for the convenience of the guests.”
It was a great place to stay. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and I loved having a full kitchen. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was a cereal bar with yogurt, hard boiled eggs, packages of oatmeal and muffins, bananas, apples, coffee and tea. In the evening there were chocolate chip cookies available. Overall, I rated it high and I will stay there again.”
Hotel and room were great. Free breakfast was fine. Only problem was confusing info from front desk. First it was the $23.80 parking fee per night we were told we had to pay. It was not there when we checked bill on the TV. When we checked out no parking fee but instead a $25 resort fee. We did look at the pool but did not go in. Later we found out parking fee was included in resort fee.”
I had a studio unit on the top floor. The decor in the condo and communal areas was pretty dated, but I think they are in the process of doing some updates. The bed was very comfy, which wins a lot of points with me, and the staff was very friendly. The location here is amazing. The biggest downside, it was noisy. There was road construction going on, the hotel was infiltrated with kids for some sort of sporting event, and the units are not sound proof to begin with. I got a great deal, so that made everything else tolerable, but I'm not sure I would pay much more to stay here again.”
It was very comfortable, the hotel is conveniently situated to al amenities, the concierge was very helpful and we particularly enjoyed the live music every night in the lounge. If I have to criticize it is the lack of children's TV programs, but that is the only negative.”
Booked at random on the internet after reading several reviews. The hotel was located near a busy highway but none the less well sound insulated. The room very clean with a refreshment pack included . Breakfast served in the bar come restaurant was more than ample for my needs. An unexpected bonus was the blues music entreatment during the 2 nights I had a drink in the bar. All staff encountered( even those non english speakers) were very helpful and attentive. Saw some very colourful birds feeding outside my room window. Boulder was an unexpected surprise. Might stay at the hotel again..”
I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2013. For what I paid I got an excellent deal. The worst thing was the hot tub was broken and there was no mention of that on the website. I was looking forward to the year-round hot-tub after a day of snowboarding but sadly went without. The room had a slight odor, couldn't tell if it was formerly a smoking room or just musty. Somehow the tap water was warm...not sure entirely how that can even happen. The beds weren't very comfortable, my friend and I didn't sleep particularly well. Aside from that, the hotel itself is actually kind of cool. It's like stepping into a time machine (which as a friend pointed out, I sadly could not because the hot tub was broken). The breakfast was pretty good , they had cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, pastries, juice, hot coffee/tea, etc. I honestly didn't expect that much given the reviews so I was pleasantly surprised. There were also a handful of good restaurants in walking distance and the rest of the town is a short drive away. All in all I would stay here again. It worked out well for a budget snowboard trip to Eldora.”
My family enjoyed staying here, my 12yo compared it to what it must have been like on the Titanic because of the decor and the "Grand Staircase" with the stained glass ceiling in the main floor lobby. Our room was very spacious and clean. We were a block away from great shopping and eateries at Pearl Street outdoor mall. Boulder is a beautiful town and we wish we had more time to explore before we had to leave.”
