We made San Francisco (& Parc 55) a short stop over on our way to Hawaii for X-mas/New year vacation. Everything was excellent, except for the weather. This is probably something the hotel cannot influence(!). Next time we will come in April/May. We can recomend P 55.”
Great location for union square and Bart. Comfortable rooms. Very nice staff. Free coffee and fruit in lobby. Free glass of wine in evenings. Fitness room is tiny and hot with three machines and no windows but is sufficient and free. Nice place.”
Good and safe location for tourist sight seeing for Chinatown, Fisherman Wharf and Financial District. I recommend the rooms with bay view. Very noisy surroundings, but you can have a good sleep with the earplugs provided. I stayed 2 nights, the first one was ok, but the 2nd I had some students next door, making a lot of noise, I was too tired to complaint to the front desk, but definitely something they will take care off.”
Room was comfortable especially with seperate sleeping area for children. Heater/air conditioner was louder than expected. Bathroom fan would not clear humidity from room. Service was exceptional. Room cleaned well. Neighborhood a little rougher than expected. Would stay again. Sightseeing well within driving distance.”
The hotel is very well kept, and in a beautiful setting. The furnishings were clean and comfortable. All of the appliances worked, which was important for our Thanksgiving stay. My one complaint was the service. Check-in was agonizingly slow and no one answered the hotel phone when we called the front desk.”
it is value for money hotel , is good location ,clean and with a style . i recommended 100% for business . i was alone in the room but i think for two persons it is relative small both the bed and the wardrobe . It is very close to everything , shopping mall , entertainment , historic center , convention center . Take a look about it if you travel alone .”
Love this place...clean and perfect central location! The price was really reasonable too! The desk clerk Susie, went out of her way to help us find info on the different amusement parks! Nice place to stay!”
One night stay for next day early business meeting. Not "ritzy," but very comfortable and very well set up for an extended stay (refrig, microwave, kitchenette, etc.). Very late arrival, but was checked in very quickly.”
The Hotel is practically on the Beach. Near just about everything. Restaurants within walking distance. HOWEVER, to get a Beach View you have to pay $30 extra, the mngmnt said it is not covered or incl by Hotels.Com and we unfortunately experienced bugs in our bed. And there is NO POOL”
We thought the hotel was more than adequate for our needs. The location was perfect and it was great to have a kitchenette suite with the family. The two days we were there, they put up a letter on the pool area that they were closing the pool for maintenance, which would have been good to know when we were booking because we would have booked elsewhere. With two small children, a pool is a pre-requisite for family vacations. The mattress pads, being waterproof, tended to stick to our bodies and radiate our body heat back up to us which was most unpleasant and was quite a sleep killer.”
We chose this hotel because of its price and location. Its a 'ok' hotel, nothing great. The gym was better than average and the outdoor pool was nice. It was heated so I could use it when it was quit cold outside (like 12 degrees). I think the pool heater stopped working though because it was freezing on day 3. It is walking distance to Disneyland which is fantastic. Its also really close to some cheap restaurants (like Subway, chinese food, pizza spot) and there is a small grocery store as well accross the street. Only negative is that the rooms are very basic and not real upgrade options. I wanted to upgrade the family to a suite just to make the stay a bit nicer, but they dont have rooms like that....just two double beds.”
The hotel was comfortable, it's about a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney and 10 minutes to the Anaheim Convention Centre. Room was clean and comfortable, but knobs on the air conditioner in the room were broken and need a little jimmying to work it. The food and service at the Tangerine Restaurant and Patio Bar are top notch! I ate here 4 times in 2 days, having breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was quick, fresh, and overall, just the best food I had down there. I was there on business, but I noticed the servers were great with families with kids.”
