This was the best hotel stay because of cutomer service. It truely was amazing. They went out of their way to help us with extra blankets, making our grandchildren comfortable. So many extras. It was a great, we would stay here again!”
This is an older building but upgraded and has wonderful comfortable beds. It is retro with new furniture in the 1920-30 style. The rooms are very clean and the price was reasonable. We booked on line to stay when we arrived in SLC and re-booked with the hotel to stay when we came back from our tour. I would certainly stay here again”
Hotel with excellent price. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Quiet at night. Breakfast not overwhelming, but okay. Free Parking. Hotel is located within walking distance to city center, temple and convention center.”
It is a wonderful and giant resort. My room was very dark. If it had brighter lights or one brighter light, It would have been far more useful. In summer the proximity to 1000's of square miles of wilderness and wildlife is a huge bonus and in winter it is just 10 minutes from Soldier Hollow and 20 minutes from Park City. I enjoyed the pool and hot-tubs but was disappointed that the outside hot springs were locked-up. I was told there was a very nice steam room but was unable to locate it on my own and never got 'round to asking. The staff were all very nice and helpful.”
The hotel was clean and staff extremely friendly. The room did not have a chair or sofa other than the small desk chair. The desk was already crowded with stuff so was not inviting to setup a laptop. The bed was very comfortable and the ameneties top notch. Snow clearing activities in the parking lot across the street woke me at 5:30AM and went on for a good 20-30 minutes. Park City is beautiful and I found it worth the drive to/from my Salt Lake meetings just to see the mountains in the morning. Great night life even early in the season.”
We stayed at the Waldorf-Astoria right when the view from the balcony was at its best with the colorful fall foliage. The staff at check in was really nice and even showed us around the main lobby. The concierge was friendly and helpful for dinner recommendations. Our room was impeccable and comfortable, had a balcony, a full-HD TV and even a small TV in the bathroom. We appreciated the small details such as the good quality hairdryer, chocolates on the pillow, bathrobes, slippers, etc.! The gym is clean and modern and there is an outside swimming pool with 2 hot tubs. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from Park City's Main Street and there is a shuttle service between the hotel and Main Street which is nice because parking there is hard to find. We had a great stay and highly recommend it!”
We were returning from a funeral, dead on our feet, and were able to get an affordable room, directions to a grocery store (cheap food) and a restful nights sleep. The dining/kitchen/living room of the suite had a fold out couch...no more arguing about who was sleeping with who, everyone got their own bed. The bedroom of the suite had a door that could be closed and had a built-in cabinet that kept everything including the suitcases off the floor and out from underfoot. Both rooms had a TV so no cranky children wanting cartoons while the parents watch the news.”
This is a very old motel, but they are trying to update it. Our room was very clean, the mattress was a little stiff, but overall for the price it was fine. The biggest inconvenience was the fact that there wasn't an outlet for my curling iron in the bathroom. When we checked in the front desk guy wasn't very friendly or helpful. He didn't give us any information regarding the pool, hot tub, or free breakfast. The next morning the girl that helped us check out was very friendly. I would stay here again if funds were tight.”
Nice hotel, clean, spacious rooms but closer to the town of Dixie than St George. It is close to a residential neighbourhood which was pleasant walking through on our way up to the shops in St George. We used this as a base to explore Zion NP and it was very close to the freeway which made the journey straightforward.”
Clean and a short drive from mountain bike trails and attractions. It's a fair distance from most restaurants and bike shops, so most people would drive in to town from here. The WIFI was SUPER SLOW, to the point of being useless, especially at peak times. Breakfast is nothing special, but at least provides some morning nutrition before a long day of riding mountain bikes!”
room was comfortable. humidity sme;ll but we were by the laundry room no biggie! clean and quiet. Free breakfast next door was good variety and good serving sizes and restaurant personnel was nice and pleasant. thumbs up!”
A rather tired-looking hotel but good enough if all you want is a place to sleep. Has a pool. Handy for downtown and the National Parks. Breakfast comprised the dreaded waffles, etc but was adequate. Could do with spending some money on the decor; but then the price would increase...”
