I'm a very easy going person, so giving the Valencia a 5/5 review was simple. It ticked all the boxes and the hotel staff helped me set the tone in the room I was looking for. The staff are effecient, professional and very competent! Would recommend for 2 people!”
We stayed here last year & was presently surprised. Stayed again because of our great experience from last year. The hotel is very clean & staff is wonderful. The only problem is the beds were a little small for 2 people. We got the double & my 2 kids slept in 1 & my husband & I in the other. The AC didn't work well & the room was cool, not cold. Over all, we still love this hotel!”
As always, the staff are warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. This makes all the difference after a long flight. During our three day stay, the staff were very helpful in helping us set up our day and then checked to make sure that all went well.”
I stayed at this hotel, while attending a conference nearby. The location was great. I had no idea the famed Congress St Bat Bridge was directly adjacent to the hotel, until seeking out the bridge (unfortunately, almost no bats to be seen in April). The room was nice, scrupulously clean, and the SleepNumber bed was divine. Also, you can walk down into the TGIFridays (inside the hotel), and order takeout right from the bar, which was incredibly convenient.”
overall it was very good; the staff was very helpful. one minor annoyance: the breakfast area ran out of coffee with 2 hours left of breakfast serving time; the staff person didn't make any effort to replenish it nor did she seem to notice it was out.”
My boyfriend and I went to austin for a quick get away and the city and this hotel did not disappoint. The room was beautiful, the bathrooms were magnificent, the bar had great local beer, the landscaping and decor was fabulous, and the service was friendly and wonderful. I can't boast enough!”
My girlfriend and I visited the Fairmont Dallas November 24th to the 27th. The first impression was awesome, the hotel staff was their waiting to lend a hand as soon as we arrived. The check in was smooth and the room was clean and ready to go as soon as we arrived, 10am. The Only thing that wasn't perfect about our stay was the TV didn't have picture twice when I turned it on, all i had to do was turn it off and back on to fix it. The location is great, couple blocks to entertainment like the DFW aquarium, dinning, and a drug store. Also, at night the Wells-Fargo building next door has a nice park area filled with waterfalls that light up, great place for some pictures of you and your girl. Overall, I would and probably will be staying at the Fairmont Dallas again!”
I didnt realise when I booked this hotel that it was so far from Dallas city. But it was extremely close to the Galleria Mall which was fabulous. The hotel supplied a free shuttle bus to and from the mall which was a God send! The hotel was spotless and the staff could not have been nicer! We got dinner one night in the hotel bar and it was really delicious. I would def recommend this to a friend, especially to my shopaholic friends due to the close proximity of the mall.”
Wonderful old hotel! We loved our stay there. Beautiful old architecture, spacious, imaculate and uptated, comfortable room. Exceptional service. Exceptional dinner in the French Room which is on site. This restaurant is a bit pricy, but well worth it.”
My roommates and I enjoyed our stay! Our only observation was that the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better. There was a large stain in the middle of the tub which is displeasing. Also some hairs were there prior to us using the washroom. Your staff was friendly, but our interactions were not as timely as I would prefer. I made a mistake and left some articles of clothing in the closet and I was very happy your staff was able to find them and send them to me. They didn't find everything I was missing, but I am pleased they were very accommodating. Thank you!”
This was an overnight stay after a long flight into Houston, took a while to find the hotel but we were new to the area! When we got there reception were lovely, offered us a menu for the local Chinese, and were just genuinely pleasant. Breakfast was fine, got there about 8 and a few things were running out but there was enough. Only problems was there wasn't any tea!! But I've found that at majority of places we've stayed since!”
it was ok overall except my bathroom shower had a leak and my clothes got soaked . the view was bad their was so much trash in the alley and a homeless guy eating out of the trash. and the staff where not that friendly when we checked in . the good things where your shuttle and the driver where vary nice and the bed in my room was cumfy .”
