I came to Nashville for business and extended my stay for pleasure. The hotel was nicely situated close to music row and is a short shuttle ride to downtown. The hotel is very well kept. My room was very comfortable and the shower amazing! I will definitely be back to Nashville and will be staying at the Hutton.”
This was our second visit to the hotel and again were very impressed with the quality and value through hotels.com. Can't beat having the shuttle service right downtown to Legends Corner. When you want to get picked up, just plan on bringing your cell phone, calling in and then sitting at the bar in Legends and having a drink while you watch for the shuttle to come down the street !! Our room was perfect - great vies of the hills. We also enjoy having a drink in the hotel bar, where we have talked to the same great female bartender both years. (sorry - never aksed her name) She is a huge football and hockey fan and always fun to talk with. The hotel is very elegant and clean. While your not downtown , access is great by shuttle (free ) or being close to the highways for a ten minute max drive.”
Although an expensive Hampton Inn, the Green Hills location provides everything you would want in a hotel. The breakfast choices are a bit over-processed -- weird scrambled eggs, thin microwave-style bacon, bagel toppers, etc. There should be a rating above for food service.”
Beautiful room, very comfortable bed, great big bathroom with wonderful shower. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations, etc. Only downfall was that a couple of times I called for small requests (extra pillows, bathrobes) and it took repeat calls a few hours later to get them. Only one block off Beale so be prepared for noise especially if your room faces Beale - we heard the bass noise quite late, but had just come from there so didn't really mind. It is totally worth it, and if you have your fan on in the room or use a white noise generator (get a free app for iPhones) you won't even notice it. The party on Beale is not to be missed and there are some great stores and restaurants to hit. ALSO, if you are a guitar player - STAY HERE - you can sign out Gibson guitars (Gibson factory is across the street) for free and play them in your room for as long as you want, with headphones and a virtual amp so as not to disturb other guests. My husband loved this and played several different guitars!”
I really liked this hotel-the ladies at the front desk were sweet and helpful (hello South!) and our room was perfect. My kids loved the waffles for breakfast, too. This was a nice hotel for a one-night stay, but I wouldn't stay here for a long weekend trip to Memphis. The hotel was far away from the center of town, and anything we wanted to do was a 20-minute drive away.”
We found our stay very comfortable and pleasant.Quality of service was excellent. The hotel location to downtown was very good and with the trolley right there it would have been even easier to get to where we wanted. We preferred walking to our destinations since they were close enough to get a little excercise. No complaints as everyone was friendly and always very helpful. Would stay here again.”
We really enjoyed staying at the Edgewater Hotel in Gatlinburg. It had a parking garage so you didn't have to get out in the weather to unpack and pack your car. It was very conveniently located to town. We had a lady in our group that had difficulty walking and she wasn't distressed at all. Very nice hotel, would love to stay there again.”
This was our first time staying at the Park Vista in a long time, and we were pleased to see the renovations and updates. The modernization of the rooms - decor, colors, amenities - and the pool area were our favorite parts. There was a bit of confusion with checking in (the front desk clerk was new or not used to the role) but that was taken care of swiftly and pleasantly by the manager on duty. Room service was delicious, and we had a cozy couple of glasses of wine at the outdoor fire pit - lovely!”
Overall River Terrace was nice. Great location-loved being on the river. We enjoyed the fireplace. Only complaints are the rooms were a little outdated & our commode rocked. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.”
Would have like the refrigerator to been defrosted. Would have like a bigger trash can for when food was ordered in. The trash didn't fit in the can. Would have liked to use the soap bar up instead of it being replenished daily . Seemed like an unnecessary waste. There were plenty travel brochures in the lobby, Personnel were friendly and helpful. I like the serene atmosphere of he hotel. It was laid back and relaxing”
Our room was clean and comfortable. The only problem we had,was our refrigerator stopped working, but since it only had soft drinks in it,it was not a big deal and when we reported it, the manager offered to correct it immediately. For the price ,I would recommend it to anyone.”
The beds were most confortable. I usually have to use a foam piece I take with me, then still hurt, but these beds were wonderful comfortable. Thanks.”
