The hotel is a bit older, but only a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute free train) over the bridge to downtown. Views are gorgeous and price was perfect. I will stay there again due to the location, staff and convenience.”
This was a Marriot Courtyard so we were not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised by 1) the central location - food trucks around the corner, other great restaurants nearby, walking distance to shopping district, easy access to transit. 2) our room - fairly large room on the top floor. Much nicer than we expected by far for the price. It was fairly updated and modern. My only gripe was a constant mysterious humming nearby. The security to the floors was good. Valet was $30 and there are nearby lots for cheaper but the convenience and piece of mind won us over. Plus we're on vacation! Everyone we were greater by was very polite and courteous. We would def stay here again.”
Really nice boutique hotel, clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and the bar is nice spot for a drink and some food with friends. Overall great stay, the location was very convenient and they go the extra mile to take care of their guests. Would definitely stay again.”
The room was not cleaned to my standards... cobb webs on the ceiling... black hand prints on the bathroom wall... mold stain on the shower curtain... there was garbage behind the dressers and behind the TV...the leather loveseat had debri under the cushions and when moving the loveseat closer to the TV there was garbage under the loveseat... The house keepping department did a poor job in cleaning the room... I will not stay there again”
Hotel is not close enough to campus to walk if you're headed to Autzen or the Matt Knight Arena, but it's centrally located for getting anywhere by car easily. Pretty standard for a cheaply priced hotel...I had trouble navigating the wifi at first, but eventually figured it out. A hard bed and a broken microwave, but everything else was fine. The guy at the front desk was not terribly friendly, but pleasant enough. If you're in town for a night or few, there are worse places you could stay.”
The room was convenient to shopping and easy to access to and from the main highway. Service was very friendly and the complementary breakfast both days was good. We would definitely recommend this hotel.”
When my family first drove to the Eagle Crest Resort, I thought, good grief it's miles out of town (it's not). Actually there are many excellent qualities to this resort. If you're into golf, you'll be in heaven as there are excellent golf courses with this resort plus other amenities such as five swimming pools, both indoor and out, hot tubs, an excellent restaurant (you have to go down a bit to get to it; it's not in the actual hotel) plus others. The hotel itself is older but has excellent linens, firm pillows, guest laundry, and very good customer service. My main gripe was the cleaning staff - not so good. I know for a fact the bed sheets were not changed (we were there for 5 nights) until I went to the front desk and requested them to be changed. I don't feel that I should have to do that in light of the fact we were there for several nights. I don't expect it to be done every day, but on the 3rd day, it should've been done. The towels are terrible - it reminds me of towels one gets at a Motel 6 or something cheaper. I would expect a better quality from a 'resort'. However, at the rate we paid, I feel we got a bargain even if it were a few miles outside of Redmond. I would definitely recommend it. Just be clear about the sheet changes!”
We wanted a place that was fun for the kids and had a good location in proximity to mt. Bachelor! We got both! Staff was amazingly friendly especially the wait staff in the restaurant. Great pool, good food and great accommodations!”
I was overall very satisfied with this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is perfect, centrally located around tons of shops and restaurants. Also, their continental breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel! I definitely recommend this hotel!”
Overall, good value for the price as we got it on sale. Our room was clean, but we found the common areas to need a little T.L.C. The room was a very good size (we stayed in a 1 bedroom) and very comfortable for a family of 4. The in-suite washer/dryer was very convenient after a day at the beach. Very sparse supplies in the kitchen for cooking. Breakfast was nothing exciting but still worth going downstairs for. If we got it for a good price we would definitely stay there again.”
We travelled to Seaside to attend a family wedding in Cannon Beach. The hotel was clean, comfortable, very accomodating to our needs. Location-wise, it was within walking distance to the beach (which I did one morning), and only a short drive into town or to Cannon Beach. The only negative comment I can make is that the coffee in the breakfast area was not very good...The price was right and the room was great!”
This hotel was great - we had problems with our TV (new flat screen), so they moved us to a suite...we were blown away by how accommodating they were when we really didn't "complain", just phoned to say our TV was not working. We would definitely stay here again - everything was great.”
