Room, hotel and services were great. Desk clerk was exceptional and he sorted out the hotel.com error. When we arrived at the hotel we were informed that we were one day late and had no current reservation. Took 45 minutes to sort out not to mention the embarrassment though our e-mail confirmation (fortunately) was correct. The desk clerk was told to charge us for the new night as it was assumed we were in error. He refused and made sure we weren't charged for an error that wasn't ours.”
I enjoyed it. The room had a nice little kitchenette and a little seating area which was great to sit and read or watch TV. The location was ok, right off the expressway, but towards the very back of a strip mall sort of shopping center. Room, lobby and grounds were kept up very nicely.”
My stay was great. The hotel is huge. It's brilliantly designed to be a perfect travel hub. The atrium in the hotel is beautiful, almost a surreal environment. As much as its perfectly designed, it just seems to be severely under capacity. The effected elements are the in house food services. I had confusion about what was open when. Everything else was great. I intend to give my future business to them, as I can tell they are improving by leaps and bounds as their business reasonably allows.”
The Residences at the Biltmore aren't just a "home away from home." They are probably nicer than your home and more comfortable. We had such a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Our suit was spacious, with a King bed, living room, giant bathroom, and well appointed kitchen. The hotel pool and hot tub were very enjoyable surrounded by trees and mountains. Every night at dusk, the hotel lit a fire pit near the pool. It was lovely to sit outside with the fire, have a drink, and relax. The hotel staff was also very nice and helpful.”
The hotel part of a shopping plaza with same address. The hotel is behind the plaza so it is very difficult to see from the road. It needs a sign on the road so you know it is there. Aside from the adventure finding it, it was a good deal for the price.”
Stayed a week while visiting Asheville. The room was lovely and a good size. The staff were very friendly, and the daily breakfast was pretty good. The location is off the "main drag" but it is 5 minutes from Biltmore and 10 minutes downtown.”
Brilliant in every respect. We received a warm and friendly welcome with lots of suggestions for places to eat/visit. The hotel is very well situated for exploring Chapel Hill. The public areas of the hotel are beautiful-so well maintained and stylish-I would sit there in the evening in one of the comfortable armchairs listening to the classical music which helped create such a relaxing ambience”
If you're not picky on quality, the Clarion Hotel State Capital is great in terms of price and location. Can't be beat on these two things. Hotel is a bit old compared to the big-named ones, but the price for the others are more than double per night...”
This hotel is perfect for those who are visting Duke and want to experience some comfort and style amongst peaceful surroundings. The hotel is a pleasant walk away from campus and I recommend the restaurant for quality food and an ideal environment for entertaining guests. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Truly a relaxing and stylish stay for recreation or business.”

Amazing service and great friendliness of staff. Being a student travelling from the UK to make North Carolina my home for the year, the Hotel made lovely and outstanding first impressions. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”
I was visiting Duke University for 3 weeks and after an initial terrible few nights at the Brookwood Inn, I decided to move and see the rest of my time at the Millennium Hotel. It was without a doubt a much better option. I was fortunate enough to get a 45% online discount, which worked out to be super cheap! I was put on the 4th floor, which I believe is the business center I think exclusivley for people on business trips, although I'm not 100%. The internet was free, I could check out as late as 2pm and had access to computers etc. The staff were great and made me feel welcome and answered any questions I had. I remember Phil particularily was lovely. They put a refridgerator in my room for free on my request. In terms of location and proximity to Duke, it took me 25 minutes to walk in, but I was told that the area is not safe to walk through late at night. There is a free 'Lasalle Loop' bus that goes from pretty much outside the hotel to Duke University and back again, until 11pm at night. I only used the hotel's transit system once and they were great and cost just $5/day. You just call the hotel and they pick you up, it was very convenient. The room ityself was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the A/C was slightly noisey so I had to wear earplugs on some nights. The carpets and wallpaper are outdated and could definitely benefit from a revamp! But all in all I really enjoyed my stay!”
