Beautiful modern rooms. Very comfortable bed, nice views, bus to boardwalk right in front. Only issue is bathroom door is barn door type that doesn't quite close. Basically no door, so great if that doesn't concern you. Dinner buffet was quite disappointing. Only 7:00 but had run out of many foods. Very little choices for a casino buffet yet similar price to the large buffets. I would stay again.”
we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the only complaint that I have is that we had to pay for the umbrells on the beach, I feel that this should be included in the cost of staying in the hotel the same as the parking.. You pay once and the ret of the week is free.”
this was stop 3 on our 4 stopper and this was the first time we had been to Atlantic City or any thing like a Casino so this was just fun fun fun for us now we could tell that most of the board walk could do with a little bit of tender lovin care - our room was large and if I'm honest I did not expect as big or as comfy as it was now if we had only won a few dollars lol we would have been very happy so very happy with Atlantic City and Showboat Casino Hotel would go back but will have to save up first lol”
This hotel was great value, everything first class at a very economical rate, staff friendly and helpful. The free car parking was a bonus, breakfast was a bit on the economy side ! but otherwise a very enjoyable experience. the music in lounge on Friday night a nice touch. I'd definitely would stay here again. I think it would be an option to consider if visiting NYC, less that half the rates in midtown..”
tried to save money by staying in Jersey but the transit system on the weekend cancels some routes making the trip in and out of Manhattan longer than necessary. The hotel itself was very comfortable and the staff super helpful. Wouldn't walk in the surrounding area after dark, though.”
Only stayed there a few hours before catching a plane. The hotel restaurant was good value for money and so was the hotel. The only complaint I have is that the supposed 'airport shuttle' (runs every 30 mins) took an hour and a half to pick us up from the airport, they said it was because the weather was bad (which it was) but all the other shuttles were running consistently.”
This is first time I stayed at this place. Nice location, IHOP is right beside the hotel. Helpful staff, nice and busy area. Clean room. I will go back there again and will recommend this hotel. Good value to what you pay. Thanks”
We were looking for affordable accomodation during our visit to NYC. The hotel definitely provided exactly what we were looking for. The room included both a small fridge and microwave as well as a small safe to lock away our valuables. A continental breakfast was available and a shuttle to downtown Manhatten left at several times in the morning and returned at two times in the evening. A round trip ticket was $12.00 per person. While close to the Lincoln tunnel connecting North Bergen to NYC, the hotel is about 20 minutes away from the Newark airport. There is no shuttle from the airport so a taxi will set you back about $55.00.”
Overall our stay was good, we had no problems, breakfast was good(but it is the some every day). Shuttle service to NY every 10 minutes.Lot of options for food ordering.Room was clean, and size was ok. Free wifi is a huge positive!”
Room was better (cleaner, roomier) than expected. We only stayed one night to go to Bruce Springsteen concert across the bridge. Suited our needs perfectly. If going to an event there, would recommend taking the option to park at Redd's - cheaper than stadium and with the restaurant's shuttle option we were back at the hotel in no time.”
The Extended Stay Secaucus (New York Area) is a great option if you are planning to visit NYC. Very convenient location. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. You are in Times Square in under 15 minutes. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and affordable. Very minor criticism - the morning breakfast is a little weak. No juices to drink. Only a small assortment of fruit and oatmeal. Other than that, it was a great place and we will be back.”
Good location for trips to NYC. Bus 320 just outside the Hotel with very frequent service. One way ticket $3.95 ( can be purchased at the kiosk at the bus shelter) takes you to Port Authority, short walk to Times Square. Depending on time of the day trip can take about 20 minutes. Hotel staff very friendly, helpful and professional. There is free shuttle bus to take you 5 miles within the the complex.( eg. Outback restaurant, Red Lobster, Walmart ).Breakfast was included. Hotel room was quite large, but did have a bit of musty smell. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was small and into 2 sections, sink in the living area, shower, toilet in a separate room. Overall we would return”
Romantic dinners overlooking the Atlantic, dancing into the morning hours or playing the slot machines...
