You have excellent people serving...at the desk,in the breakfast room ...always friendly and helpful....our family was gathering for a funeral and your excellent service made us feel at home at what was a very sad time for all of us.”
Hotel was quite old but comfortable and clean. The walls were not very sound proofed and it could be quite noisy with people talking and doors slamming. Over all it was satisfactory and quite reasonable in price.”
For the price - it worked out just fine. Light rail is just in front of the hotel but did not create any distrubances. It was a quiet neighborhood, which it didn't look like it would be. We were there during the week. Not sure if it would be noisier on the weekends.”

Only issue is the "surprise" $15 per day resort fee, just disclose it up front, or include it in the price, to stick this in at the checkout is a joke, resort documents on check in clearly state all the things that are included with the room, why stick me with $15 per day after the fact”
I enjoyed the complimentary extensive breakfast. The lounge area at the pool was an nice outdoor area to sit and have coffee. The hotel is not large which I like and doesn't have a bar so it is quiet. There are 5 restaurants within walking distance and order in service brochures availbe in the room. My room had a microwave and fridge which was handy for keeping drinks, fruit or take away items. It was my first time in Arizona and I was very happy with my stay at the Sleep Inn. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, very good state of repair, friendly helpful staff. I thought it was very good value.”
So many beautiful touches. The grounds are gorgeous. My kids really appreciated the basketball and volleyball. (sports equipment available at desk)The largest pool is saline, which I think is a real plus. Food was delicious but be ready to pay. We took a later check out so we could have another day there. You are billed by the hour from 12-3, but again, well worth it. All staff were super. My only disappointment was the "nature trail" which, although beautiful, was VERY short. I had the mistaken impression we would be adjacent to a park.”
Had a great 6 nights at this hotel. When checking in building 2 had a bad smell in hallways and rooms, but we were moved to building 1 with no problems by the helpful and efficient staff. Everything else was great. Would definately stay again. Beautiful views from our balcony. Pool area was very nice. Would recommend.”
Hotel well maintained, clean and comfortable rooms. We experienced good serice, in particular, at the front desk, where a blond lady (sorry, did not get her name, went the extra mile to get us complimentary teri robes so we could enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi in what was cool out door December weather. A little bit out of the way, but good value/”
Our stay was mildly spoiled by work going on around the pool and outdoor restaurant area, causing much dust and preventing guests from enjoying the lovely outdoors. I can only assume that this was an unusual situation.”
We enjoyed our stay at Sedona Rouge. It is within walking distance to a grocery store and some nice quick hikes. We did discover a busier, more pedestrian friendly part of Sedona down the road a little a day or two later. The two parts of the town are separated by a small stretch of hwy so if you didn't know better you'd think the area where the Rouge is is the extent of Sedona but there is so much more. Eat at the Italian across the street, it is one of the best restaurants in town.”
We had gone to Sedona for a winter getaway from chilly Canada and was aghast to find that it was actually colder in Arizona than back home. I only brought my sandals and when we went to the West Fork Trail found that we were walking on ice - we had to turn back after a few minutes. I recommend bringing warm clothing if travelling in Sedona in February.”
