The hotel was near where we were going. It is not a luxury hotel, but a nice place to stay. The breakfast in the morning was a plus or there were other places to eat if you wished. It is very convienient to I80.”
Great views of Ameritrade Ball Park and right next to CenturyLink. Hotel is very modern. Our floor had a unique smell. It was some sort of flower smell that wasn't all that inviting...very minor as it didn't come into our room. Will stay again.”
The room was nice and comfortable. no special amenities but the price is right for a nice room. We stayed several nights .spent the day sight seeing and visiting Crieghton University. The hotel does have a nice excercise room, free internet and a nice breakfast to start the day.”
Other reviews said this hotel was clean but I wasn't expecting it to be as clean as it was. The room came with a microwave and refrigerator which was nice. I only had a few complaints. The breakfast ended at 9:30 which seemed a bit early, however, we went out at 10 and there was still food. The bathroom was a bit small but it got the job done. We requested ground floor but the 1st floor still requires going down the stairs from the lobby. Overall, it was a good place and I would stay there again.”
When I initially booked a room at this hotel it was only out of necessity. There was a FFA conference or something to that effect in town and there were only two places to stay. This hotel, of those two, was the only within walking distance to the capitol building so I booked it here. Upon arriving on the night of the 27th the woman at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. I pestered her numerous times for one thing or another and she had prompt answers and was nice about everything. The part of the lobby seen when first walking in was nice, what with tv, chairs, cute table, and all that. However, the rest of it that was actually by the desk was... drab, but not bad necessarily. When I actually got to the room I was pleasantly surprised yet again. I didn't realize that the room would be a separated living and sleeping area with a kitchenette in between. Admittedly, some of the furnishings and the carpet made it feel a little dated. Also, a bit of the ceiling was peeling in the bathroom and the drain stopper had been almost completely pulled out, but every hotel has its fair share of problems even with a full staff working constantly. Overall, the room was quite good. Last, but not least, was the location. For me, it was perfect. Only about 4 or 5 blocks from the capitol building, 7-12 blocks from downtown/haymarket area, all within walking distance especially considering how lovely the weather was. Like every hotel it had its shortcomings (no breakfast, sadly, but a convenience store across the street), but I would certainly recommend it to those staying long-term.”
Chase Suite Hotel Lincoln was a comfortable no-frills hotel. What set it apart, was the fantastic attitude of the staff. Nothing was a problem. They picked up and dropped us off all over the town, organised game tickets and provided invaluable local knowledge. We would return there”
I read all the other reviews complaining about the TV remotes and thought, that's not a big deal. Ummm---YES IT IS!!!! I got arm cramps trying to hold the remote in just the right place to make it work. I had to focus on the tiny blinking light when the remote connected. This hotel is outstanding in every way and it is CRAZY that a stupid TV remote can drive somebody insane! If you are somebody who relaxes watching TV and does moderate to heavy channel surfing, skip this hotel; because the TV remote will drive you crazy! I was only there for 1 night and had I been there multiple nights, I would NOT have booked this hotel.”
VERY clean rooms, comfy beds, location was easy to spot, sure is crammed back in among businesses though. Everything was adequate and no complaints. Wished I had picked an upstairs room as I could hear every footstep from above though. I do have one suggestion tho: Update the tvs in the rooms to flat screens please. I think the majority have them in their homes now and watching those crt type which you had, sure lessons the experience. Put it (mount) up higher on the wall. I hate trying to watch tv looking over my feet because it sits on the dresser top down low.”
Very helpful and friendly staff. Bed was comfy and room was very clean. Had a nice bar right across the street that made for a good dinnner. Gym is not much to speak about but was enough to get in a run while watching the hockey games. Would definitely stay here again!”
I thought the hotel was very sufficient for the price. The bed was comfortable, pillows were not, but that is my preference. Some like those pillows. I thought it was quiet through the night. It was an older hotel so some of the fixtures were in need of replacing but other than that, it was a good place to stay.”
Enjoyed my three night stay here. Good service form the staff who were very responsive to any requests I had. Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet area. Liked the pool and jacuzzi availability. Overall a good value for what you will spend.”
If you are visiting someone in Bellevue, this is a nice place to stay. Internet is good, breakfast is adequate. The excessive room is ok but the seat on the cycle has been broken for the last 2stays. It just needs screws. I explained how to fix it, so we will see. I'll be back in a month.”
