Was a little apprehensive after seeing several scathing reviews, but this place was really cozy. Two guests had to share the sleeper sofa and they said it was not very comfortable - but then, it's a sleeper sofa. We were in town for a bicycling event and just needed a place to sleep, relax, and clean ujp after the ride. The annual Cruisers car event was going on, and the cars were up and down Coastal Highway until around 11 PM or so - earplugs were a necessity as the bedroom was directly over the highway. Despite that, it was a very enjoyable visit and a decent place to stay.”
Right in the middle of the boardwalk, with restaurants and attractions all around it. Admittedly, most of these were closed as it was january, but we were very happy with it and extended our one night stay into two nights! We got it for half price- I'm not sure I would have paid full price for it. No breakfast provided, but the very spacious room came with a little kitchen and a balcony overlooking the beach, and had a big tv and free wi-fi, so we were set. It also had an indoor pool which was open year round as well as the outside pool (shut for the season). The indoor pool was smallish, but excellent for relaxing, and was accessed via a game room with all sorts of arcade games and a gym. The only downside was that the changing rooms obviously were'nt being particularly well maintained as it was off-season, and there were loads of little flies in the ladies shower. Overall though, it was a perfect place to relax, enjoy the beach and just be together.”
Stayed one night. Competent, courteous staff. Hall carpet leading to rooms needs some serious updating. But the rooms are large, clean & well maintained. They could get some flat screen TVs though and join the 21st Century. Would stay again.”
Great hotel! Me and my wife made a quick getaway to Baltimore for a couple days and booked our room at the Inner Harbor a couple weeks before. What a great choice! Close to all the local attractions of the Inner Harbor, all the restaurant choices you could ask for, comfortable room, friendly staff, ect. They were also very accomodating with our dog which made the stay that much more enjoyable and easier on us. Can't say enough good things about the place.”
The hotel staff were very polite and courteous. They were also very accomodating towards my needs especially when I was having wireless internet problems. Overall it was a pleasant stay with the room being clean and well-maintained, but especially because the staff were so wonderful.”
Very clean and well-run, though slightly run down. Reasonably priced. The hotel is undergoing renovation so should be much nicer in another 6 mos. This building is tucked into the back of the Cross Keys shopping center and right next to the freeway (I-83)--a little hard to find unless you call for directions. Good service, though they close the bar at 11:00 p.m.--not something I expected in a city the size of Baltimore. Front desk was accommodating in providing me with alternate places to go for a drink. Restaurant was very good for lunch the next day.”
There was no one on the front desk after 10:00 pm and no one available early in the am. No continental breakfast or even coffee on the weekend. No vending available either.”
The room was a lot nicer than I'd thought it would be by the look of the outside. There were a few amenities that the room didn't have that I would have liked (mini fridge, hair dryer, iron). But for the price, I would stay again. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, and it was close to a good number of food locations.”
We had a very nice stay. The room was comfortable, had all the conveniences we needed. The location was good with stores nearby. The circulator was great. The staff was very helpful. They warmed up our leftovers. It woudl have been convenient if we could have had access to the microwave ourself.”
I was attending a conference at a nearby hotel, and this hotel was spot on for the money and location. Friendly service, good comfy bed, and great size room - I got a room with 2 double beds for the same price as 1 bed and it was great to be able to spread out. Free wired internet was great, especially as conference hotel didn't even include that. Room was super clean - with adjustable heat-a/c. No mini-bar but a small fridge. Great Thai restaurant across the road. Easy walking distance to all parts of town.”
Great location- nice pool and gym, used both. Rooms could have been alot cleaner. Shuttle service excellent, and runs to 11 pm which is a huge plus. Lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, perfect for our need visiting a midshipman, and wanting access to restaurants, stores, etc. as well as the need for shuttle service to academy.”
A historic inn for sure and well maintained. The location, in the very centre of Annapolis is exceptional. The restaurant associated with the hotel and the pub are also very convenient. The staff were extremely polite and helpfu. The room was exceptionally clean, but the furnishings were a bit less convenient with no desk for a laptop. The valet parking is far too expensive and not very convenient. Also, the need to check in at a different location rather than the hotel itself is something of a nuisance.”
