We werevery satisfied with our stay. Staff and service was incredible and extremely helpful! The French Quarter was very welcoming and had an incredible pulse and southern vibe. Exactly what we were looking for. Can't wait for our next visit......”
As I was there for business I didn't really have the opportunity to see much of New Orleans. However the hotel was well situated within walking distance of the conference center and the hotel itself very good and had character. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you.”
This hotel provides a good stay in a good location. We were especially impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel used to be more grand, but it is well maintained and comfortable.”
This was my second time staying in Best Western's Presidential Suite and once again it was amazing. This room was awesome! It was like a one bedroom fully furnished home! The only problem I had was the water was a little green in the jacuzzi tub but I cleaned it a few times and it was perfect.”
Even though they originally gave us a room with no beds (seriously), they upgraded us. The rooms were fine, bed comfy, and it's walking distance from downtown. And attached to the casino! And contrary to some of the reviews, it's not that far! Holy people it's like a 5 minute walk, INDOORS to get to the casino!”
Comfortable room. Good location near freeway. Good continental breakfast. Would stay there again.”
over all was an ok hotel. 2 hours to check in because of the reservation with hotels.com and dimondjacks did not match up. the staff did not seem to want to help correct the problem. we did not recieve a recipt at check out and have been trying to correct that error as well with the hotel, with no success. the room itself was not the cleanest. small hairs all over the bathtub let me know that the tub was not cleaned. at this point i am unsure if i will stay at diamond jacks again, or book with hotels.com”
Hotel staff was nice and accomodating. I noticed them handling other guests with respect as well. The condition of the property and rooms...mid-low grade. Nothing extravagant by any means. Older but clean for the stay. Pet friendly.”
They upgraded me to bigger room with no extra charge. Had a nice large jacuzzi in bathroom with room for two. Staff was very helpful and rooms were nice and clean. I will stay here again for sure next time I come to town. Had no problems with water showers were very hot. There was road construction so we hard to get in to hotel parking lot but that is not hotel problem. Parking was free as well.”
We were staying there for a long weekend (3 adults and 2 children). Visited the zoo and the aquarium. The hotel was a bit of a drive from each (about 5 miles) but we used a taxi to get around and therefore was no problem. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was helpful. NIce breakfast”
The hotel was easy to fine was right off the interstate. Room was very clean. Hotel it self was very nice. I was staying their for Mardi gra an the hotel wasn't that far from downtown new Orleans. For the price of the room was very affordable compared to other hotel prices. I would like to stay their next year for Mardi gra.”
Most rooms are situated in a motel type, three storey outside walkways overlooking a courtyard. Outdoor pool centred in the courtyard. There is an elevator to the floors. Ground (1st) floor is convenient if you have a lot of luggage. Wasn't noisy but special weekends I imagine it would be. Room was clean and large. Breakfast consisted of cerals, yoghurt, scrabbled eggs, sausage gravey and biscuits, plus danish, toast jam. Some fruit or belgian waffle machine WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT. Difficult to find from Causeway Blvd. Suggest goggle or use GPS to get to the entrance to hotel. Feb. 2012 there are road improvements for the on ramp to 610 so there are detours.”
