I liked the room and the hotel. It was nice and a good deal. It was about 2 miles from downtown center Indianapolis and there was a shuttle service. The thing is I was told after riding it for free the first day and I injuried about possibly missing the shuttle, then I was charged five dollars per ride each way because I was told the two hotels that were next to each other were "sister" hotels only and mine didn't include the free shuttle.”
I have used this hotel before and its generally good for a quick visit. I spent two days there for as trade show. I used the free shuttle from the airport which was fine - wifi internet was patchy - breakfast was decent but service was poor, not enough staff i think - bar good with good service but extraordinarily dark!!”
We didn't really spend much time in the hotel since we arrived for a private event and then spent the evening at my nieces. I was disappointed in the fact that the continental breakfast was not setup at 6:00 - we were catching a plane and a lot of the food was not available yet. However, the gentleman there did let us get something to take with us.”
I had a enjoyable stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anybody. I have the following comments which were no problem for me, but might be for others: - I was visiting Notre Dame University, the position of the hotel is good for that (20min walk for me) but might be a bit far from the centre of the city, if walking. - My room was very large but had relatively little storage space, I had to keep most of my clothes packed. - For breakfast, the hotel had a wide range of foods, but lacked any kind of vegetables, I tend to eat lots of those but might not be a problem for others.”
This hotel had very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and relatively comfortable. The pillows were not the best, and though the mattresses were comfortable, they were very firm. (If you like soft beds, then you may have had problems.) There were just basic provisions in our rooms: a packet of shampoo and a little pouch of kleenex tissue. You had to ask for a blow dryer at front desk. Although it had external corridors, the rooms were quiet. There was no good drinking water available. (Tap water was safe to drink, but didn't taste very good. Bring bottled water with you.) Room temperature could be controlled easily in the rooms. The television worked well. There was free Wi-fi available. Our King-bed room had a bar fridge and small microwave, but our parents' double-bed room did not. Overall, it was clean and affordable, so I would recommend it if you just need a place to sleep and shower.”
This was a great place to stay as we attended the Notre Dame Spring game. The free breakfast was AWESOME and the room was nice. The only negative thing is that the walls seemed really thin. We could hear people in the next room and in the hallway, even if they were speaking at a normal level. We were up late anyway, so it didn't bother us much, but it could certainly ruin your stay of stuff like that bothers you. I had also read reviews about there being a lot of kids at this hotel, and thought it was a weird thing to say. But there are TONS of kids at this hotel! More than you would expect to see. Overall, we had a great weekend, and would definitely stay here again.”
The hotel was nice-conveniently located to many restaurants and close to IU campus. I do wish for the price that breakfast would have been included-as that is the norm for American hotels. But overall, would recommend staying here if you are visiting IU campus.”
The hotel was overall really nice for the price. Great room, swimming pool, hot tub and breakfast. The only complaint was they were remodeling and the dust was real bad, even in the room. I would suggest maybe doing one side and then the other so you could book the side not being worked on. The matresses and other materials were all in the hallway and had to be careful when walking down it.”
I was in Bloomington for Mom's weekend to visit my daughters. The hotel staff was extremely nice and wanted to make sure that everything was satisfactory with my room/stay, etc. For an older hotel, everything was well maintained and clean. The continental breakfast is always a plus and one less thing to worry about and had many things to offer. The location was great for my purposes and I would definitely reccommend it to anyone that was going to B-town to visit.”
The Executive Inn was conveiniently located for my purposes. The carpets and the room was clean. The heating and air conditioning were modern. Maintenance was up to date. I was very pleased considering the cost and discount provided by your company. Thanks for asking. Regards. R. Smith”
Great location...close to Walmart and a movie theater. Continental b-fast was very basic...(sufficient) if you're not looking for a huge meal. pool areqa was fine but we were asked to exit the pool area during a store. Our overall opinion is that this hotel is a great stay for the price. We would stay here again if need be.”
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, except that one side of the King bed was broken down and way too soft. The mattress needed to be replaced. Since I was by myself, the problem was solved by moving to the other side. The breakfast was adequate, though not special. The woman at the desk was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Decatur.”
