I always choose Radisson hotel,Desplaines, due to several reasons, first and foremost is the location, then the qualityt, hospitality and the cooperation of the front desk gentlemen and good looking ladies as well as the other hotel staff.”
We stayed there 3 nights and we really liked the location and the comfortable bed. The room was clean and quite modern. The sink is definitively not appropriate (too small -- you can barely wash your hands). But overall was pleased and would stay there again.”
Great location....!st room blinds did not work, so front desk organised quickly a better room...{thanks , Andre]. Why no ice machines.? You have to call front desk to get ice....Cold water drink in lobby is very welcome in summer. Breakfast was good...love that brown bread! I was happy with the whole deal......”
For the value, the stay was great! The hotel and rooms were clean and newer remodel. Only the bathroom needed a little TLC, but I have see many worse. Breakfast was excellent, location was very good and staff was very attentive.”
It was okay and met my needs. I would recommend this hotel. Needed to stay for a Sunday event. I found it odd that this hotel did not have a wine list. It was also annoying that my access card was not replaced though I was confirmed for late check out. Which meant I had to go to my floor and try entering my room and then had to drag my packages down the elevators again to have my key activated. However, I found the front desk personnel very pleasant and courteous.”
The Hotel was being renovated while we stayed there, paint smells everywhere. Would have been nice to know when booking the rooms. Breakfast selections were not what La Quinta usually offers, a bit disappointing”
We had an exhausting experience checking in with somone from the front desk. The other worker checked in three people before our person finished with us. Aside from that, the hotel is great. Safe, upper class area. 5 minute walk to Davis and Dempster metro stops. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes to get downtown in off-peak times. During rush hour you can take the express purple line almost straight downtown. It took about 45 minutes then. 5 minute walk from beer/liquor store. Numerous bars/restaurants outside the front door. Amazing pancake maker available for the continental breakfast. My only complaint about the room is that there is no complimentary bar fridge. We were on a road trip and the ability to keep food cold would have been great.”
We had a wonderful time. The workout room was great. It was our anniversary and my husband and I lived there years ago when he studied at Northwestern University. We couldn't even imagine being able to stay at such a hotel at that time, so it was a real treat.”
Hotel was great. It was a quick 3 minute walk to the commuter rail and the subway to head downtown. I only stayed one night, but the room was very comfortable, and the in house restaurant was great. I would definitely stay here again if I need to be in the North Shore.”
The Ramada was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety, unlike most continental breakfasts. I would recommend this hotel.”
This hotel was fine for what I needed. I was in town for business. I basically needed a place to sleep and shower. I didn't check out the pool or weight room. I have stayed twice in the last two weeks and will stay again. The free breakfast is a plus, just don't expect to find many healthy food choices.”
The room was excellent, clean and roomh. It was close to some shopping and it was easy to get to the rest of the city from there. Even though the Hotels.com site said breakfast was not included it was when we were there, at least. Nothing spectacular but a simple breakfast and coffee to start the day off.”
