great hotel, next to everything, great shopping center attached to train and bus station next door. Five mins walk into lovely town. Hotel staff so helpful, very clean and spacious, would def stay again”
Pros: This hotel is ideally located in the center of Utrecht close to everything, huge shopping moll across the street. The central railway and bus station is a short walk through the shopping moll. The reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. The standard room is basic without c/h and is sticky at night in Summer but OK. Cleaning staff very good, rooms cleaned each day and fresh towels supplied. Coffee and tea with nibbles available all day adjacent to the breakfast area at no extra cost, a computer with internet access free is also available in this area. Cons: Hotels.com website indicated that there was a sofa bed in each room in addition to the double bed - this is not the case. We booked a double room and needed a bed for our daughter while she looked for permanent accommodation in the city, we had to have an extra bed installed in the room at extra cost while she looked for accommodation elsewhere while this was not a problem it was unexpected. Overall: Very pleased with with location, bars, restaurants, shops and sights all within walking distance”
We found the hotel personnel very helpful and friendly. It is surrounded by water with ducks and really quite and peaceful. Although it is not in town it is a short walk if you enjoy walking. Breakfast was also very good. Would make use of this hotel again should we ever return to the Netherlands.”
The rooms are spacious, service friendly and unpretentious, comfortable beds, and this hotel was very clean. Great deal considering what hotels in this area charge.”
Very helpful people. Room was comfortable and nice.”
The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Central Train Station and about a 10 minute walk (if that) to the Old City Centre which is absolutely amazing! We found the hotel restaurant overpriced so we chose not to eat there but to experience the ambiance of Old Amersfoort. Perfect Choice! The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend this hotel. The price was great, good value.”

Convenient location within walking distance to the centre and in a good neighborhood. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Downsides: no tea/coffee facilities in rooms. No dedicated parking - you have to find space on the street and pay via meter. Overall good value for money”
The hotel has great service , staff see to your needs, rooms are spacious, computer desk, pay tv, sofa, bathroom /toilet. Also provide room service. Hotel has also outside cafe, and is situated close to shops with a wide range of shops.”
This is the second time I have stayed in this extremely pleasant hotel. The first time was with teenagers and this time with my 89 year old mother. On both occasions the hotel staff did everything possible to help. Room service was quick and efficient and the breakfast excellent. The rooms are spacious and have very pleasant views - some have a small balcony. The restaurant food is of a high standard. It is located in the centre of a large village with plenty of shops. It is very close to the ancient market town of Amersfoort and the Hoge Veluwe National Park is close by. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all, I can happily recommend this hotel to both families and couples.”
