Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The staff were concerned about our lost luggage (delayed by the airline) and helped us to sort out arrangements for receiving the luggage at our next destination. Also, the Tandoori restaurant is excellent.”
Well located within walking distance of the shops at Connaught Square. Easy to get to the other attractions by auto rickshaw or taxi. Good breakfast on offer. Not a top Delhi hotel but good enough for a tourist or most business people.”
It's a very nice hotel. Deserving it's five star rating. It has all the requirements needed for this type of establishment. Helpfull staff, good rooms, large, nice and clean good location and good food. Will definetly recommend this one to family and friends. Enjoyed the stay very much indeed.”
Staff were very friendly and helpful in general and were always willing to help get you to where you wanted to go. The food is also very good and a large menu. For value you'd have to go a long way to beat it which brings me to the only downside and that is it's location which is 29 mins from Connaught Place for example but if you're not fussed then try it.”
We stayed in this lovely old Colonial hotel for one night in December. The rooms are massive with very high ceilings, but are very sparsely furnished which makes it feel a bit empty and not very cosy. The bathroom has a shower and bath in one. Unfortunately, as was the case with most of the hotels in India, getting the water temperature correct was very difficult! The cold water didn't work at all in the bathroom so to flush the toilet we had to use the bucket from the rubbish bin and fill it up from the bath tap and put in the top of the toilet. The hot water worked, but it wasn't piping hot. Since we only stayed here for one night, we didn't bother complaining about the water issues. The restaurant at the hotel had amazing food - was acutally the best Indian food we had in our entire India trip! The one thing that they could work on though is the atmosphere in the restaurant and bar - it was very quiet and they had really bright flourescent lighting. We felt the need to whisper. The hotel seems to be not very close to anything like restaurants, bars, etc. Even though it was a really nice hotel, for the price we paid, I wouldn't stay here again.”
Located right next door to Hard Rock Cafe and the huge shopping area called City Walk, this hotel was excellent!!! The service was great, breakfast was exceptional, and value of hotel for the money was great!!!! Highly recommend this hotel. We will stay again, if we ever return to Delhi area!”
Our stay at BnB Chrysalis was the perfect end to an already amazing visit to India. The facilities were clean, comfortable and in good working order. They had delicious food, great service and free WiFi. Although all that stuff is important, the more we travel, the more we realize it is the people we get to know on the journey that really matters. It is the relationships we remember long after the condition of the shower or bed (which by the way were great!). The stories we tell others about our visit to India always include many details about our experience with Mony, Sapan and Kusum. We made the reservation via Hotels.com and it was a flawless experience. However, that was too impersonal for Mony. He wanted to get to know us. We traded several emails and phone calls before we arrived. Although this is a Bed and BREAKFAST, we had an incredible dinner experience with Mony and his family the night we arrived that we will never forget. Sapan and Kusum welcomed us like family and made sure we had everything we needed. Sapan went above and beyond to help us get an Indian SIM card as well arrange transportation to the airport at midnight. We also met another couple from England with whom we had a great time touring Delhi. We can’t say enough good things about BnB Chrysalis. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Delhi and have recommended it to all our friends. If it were possible to give them 10 stars we would.”
I had to stay over in Delhi to catch a domestic flight, and I stayed there. The place is nice, the rooms are nice and the staff friendly. The food was good. It was quite close to Terminal 3. I had a couple of issues like pick up from the airport and the free internet, but the hotel people made up and overall, it was a good decision that I stayed there. I am planning to go again when I need to transit through Delhi.”
