PARIS is lovely city and you will forget all none satified items.hotel was good and all staff are kind and they have high responsibility.it is too close Eifel Tower and access to metro station is fine. but hotel is getting old and maintenance isnt well.”
Close to shopping and sights as well as metro, staff extremely accommodating, it felt very plush. It was nice to have help and advice from staff in a city where we were unfamiliar with the language and culture. We felt that everyone bent over backward to assure our satisfaction”
I was travelling by myself and felt confortable and in the lap of boutique luxury. Staff were helpful and printed off maps . Rooms were small but neat and well-designed. Loved the street view from the balcony. Nice groovy places to hang out in bar and lounge. So near the metro and lots of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. My husband recommended it and I would go there again.”
Perfect if you only want to stay close to the airport for one night. The room is very small but for the price you can not expect more. And it was very quiet. Difficult to find out where to find the shuttlebus to the hotel.”
The room we got is huge compared with the other hotels we stayed during our trip in Paris. It is pretty convinient to go from airport to the hotel on shuttle bus, they will pick up from terminal 1, 2 or 3. We took the RAR B line all the way to airport stop at terminal 2 (one stop before the final one), it was just few steps from RAR hop to the shuttle bus pick up location. The shuttle driver was very friendly (I guess this really depends one which driver, since I read the review from a earlier travelor said the driver had bad attitude). The hotel itself is really nice and spacious, we only have 2 of us, but we get a suite of one queen bed plus one single bed (this is the suite Novatel), very clean and modern decoration, everything look new. There were complimentary spring water, some herbal teas and muffin, when we walked in the room, the TV screen even show my name and welcome message, it was quite touchy to my heart. The room was very quiet, I didn't hear noise from any neighters shutting the door, nor the noise from airplane passing by.”
We were happy with the hotel except for some of the staff. They weren't really helpful when we asked for advice about restaurants and nightlife. Our a/c in the room didn't work and another staff member was extremely accommodating and because it was late he let us leave our stuff in the room and sleep in a different room:)”
1/2 mile walking distance to Metro trains...overall excellent for the price...definitely will consider for a next trip.”
I had done tremendous amount of research about this hotel, and had read many reviews, about the main building and the pavilion building. We choose to stay in the pavilion building for two nights because of the rate, and let me say it was the best thing to do. We were greeted with open arms and escorted to the next building which we were welcomed with a small dessert for our anniversary. The room was very clean and spacious. It had a bathroom with shower which was also a bath, a minibar, flat screen and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast in the main building was exquisite. We could not wait for 7am to head over and have there delicate pastries, and drinks. The service was outstanding. They did everything to make us feel welcomed, helped us with our questions, and offered with suggestions of things to do even out of versailles. The location was very close to the restaurants, a creperie, and also the palace of versailles. If you cant afford the main building, please do stay in the pavilion. This hotel is a must, and was the best thing we did in our France trip for 10 days. We can not wait to go back!!!! We miss you Trianon. 5 STARS”
Stayed 5 nights on business. The service was very friendly and attentive. Hotel is very close to the caste and to the market place with lots of outdoor cafes. Was very pleased with the hotel breakfast and the staff there were great.. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. Overall, I'd definitely stay again.”
A very functional, clean hotel in close proximity to all of the popular sights in Versailles. A short walk from the train station and cleanliness/service levels were in line with the expected Mercure standard.”
