I stayed in the hotel just for one night. The room was as expected for the hotel in this range. One reason why I booked this hotel was the availability of parking which was mention as free on hotels.com. However, the hotel wanted to charge me for the parking. When I showed description of services on hotels.com. They just let me to have the parking free of charge without any further arguments. Location of the hotel is very convenient for city visit. It's 15 min walk to downtown.”
Hotel was new and clean. The facilities were good. Internet didn't work which was frustrating and front desk couldn't do much about it. May need to have a simple system to provide Internet access. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay. Eve though the hotel is away from the centre there is very convenient public transport system which will tale you there quickly.”
My wife and I spent an enjoyable week in Toulouse, and chose this hotel mainly for its location, and general value. The airport shuttle left us almost to the door, The main shopping street (Alsace-Lorraine) begins just across the road, the main rail station is a 10min walk. Even though our room overlooked it, we never once heard a sound (and;t we are very fussy regarding noise). The air-conditioning also was efficient and surprisingly silent. Our only downside was that the room, and bed, were very small. We didn't avail of the hotel breakfast, as many excellent "petit dejeuners" can be had nearby for half the price.”
The accommodations were just like home. Being able to buy our own food and cook it was a Big savings, and if you need to dust a bit or any other home chore it is worth it. We found Peter to be an easy person to talk to and just being in Lourdes you know you are on Holy Ground. I suggest you also visit the hospital there and see how well cared for the people who really suffer are taken care of. Get to Lourdes asap and enjoy this special location. Blessings, Christine”
Just reopened! VERY convenient to all the sights in Lourdes..especially the Marian Procession and Basilica! Free parking nearby, but a bit tricky with all the one way streets! Very kind lady at front desk! Simple but satisfying breakfast! The newly refurbished room was large enough and the bathroom brand new! GREAT VALUE..would definitely stay again!”
This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin - it's clean, the rooms are small but perfectly formed, the breakfast was entirely adequate. I would stay again, but next time - and my advice to other travellers - would be to get the reservation number directly from the hotel before you travel. If by any chance you won't be getting to the hotel until after 11pm, you need the hotels reservation number to get your key from the computerized self-service point at the front of the hotel. I didn't have it and had to pay for another room for the night. The hotel refunded the money with no problem, but it's just a helpful piece of information!”
very good but the walk to the must-see sights in the heat was a little too much. I would like to mention the the receptionist who was on duty at the time we arrived, was charming and very helpful. We arrived at about 5pm on the 18th of August.”
The address given was incorrect asit missed out 'Marechal du' which made it difficult to find. We had booked a triple room and when we arrived the receptionist was non-plussed as he only had two bedded rooms available. He managed to find on eventually but there was no kettle in the room only one bath towel and a miniscule amount of toilet paper. After about half an hour we got it all sorted out. On the plus side they served a rump steak such I had never had before - really excellent.”
The view of the Albi Cathedral from the hotel and the restaurant is worth the stay. I wish we had upgraded the room to a view room when we made the reservation, because when we arrived the hotel was full. The terrace for breakfast and dinner was fabulous, overlooking three brick bridges and the Cathedral. The food was fine, but I only remember the lit cathedral and the lightening storm behind it. It is a short walk over the river to the remarkable Toulouse Latrec Museum right next to the Cathedral. We would definitely stay here again, and upgrade to a view room.”
