This hotel is located steps outside the main train station. There are numerous shops, restaurants, including supermarkets nearby. Although the hotel allows guests to have free access to the external gym, some mornings, it does not open until 9:00 which does not work for business travelers. Rooms are clean and it is nice to be able to open up the window. The TV is old style and put up high on the wall, which makes it inconvenient when you are not sitting on the bed against the wall.”
The hotel interior is much better looking than the hotel exterior appearance. Friendly and helpful staff, large clean rooms and a nice breakfast room. I stayed in the deluxe room with two children aged 10 and 12. We had ample space. There is no parking at the premises, but there was sufficient parking on the street outside.”
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel combines the quaintness and charm of a small hotel with the amenities and features of "fancy" hotels. We were impressed with the spa/fitness/wellness features. The food and service was outstanding (we had dinner and the included breakfast). The location is ideal if you want to get away from it all. We would stay again.”
I would rate the hotel 3+. Nice, comfortable rooms, free wo-fi, good parking. Restaurant food good and reasonably priced. Nice hotel staff.”
Internet code was one device to room which was our only issue. Breakfast was normal German fare along with Scrambled eggs, bacon and Champagne. Rooms were clean and normal size.”
Good location and value. Very nice staff. My only quibble was the head of the bed rested parallel to the window.”
Excellent location just across the river from the old city centre - nice views and quiet. Good parking just outside the front for 5 euros per day. The room was pleasant if compact, with not much room for storing clothes. Bathroom was small and rather disappointing - you shouldn't have to stand in a bath to have a shower at these prices!”
The hotel was quite cheap and good quality for that. They also had a fridge so we could buy our own breakfast and lunch materials, and the staff were very nice. It was just a quick bus ride into town so bus tickets were also quite reasonable. Their only questionable practice was that they turned our cups upside-down rather than cleaning them, but I'm sure they would have given us new cups had we asked.”
