Very convenient hotel. The TV didn't work fully so I was ultimately, after some inaction, moved to a room where it did. Criticisms are that bottled water on desk is 4.9 Euros compared with 2.9 in the shops and the internet is charged out at 5 Euros per quarter hour - quite outrageous!”
The hotel was clean, and comfortable. The food was good at breakfast and for the evening meals. The transport to/from the hotel is easy, a one minute walk to get the 62 bus which appears to run to time every day, at most 5 buses an hour, at least 2. A family ticket for the day is 7.5Euro's giving us access to all sites we needed to see.”
This is an excellent hotel. Spotless, you can almost look out your room window and read the train timetable in the station! Well perhaps not, but it's that close. Hotel supplies free tram tickets. Close to fantastic shopping (although Sunday is a closed day as we found out, so if you're there on Sunday it's sightseeing for you!) Excelent experience.”
We stayed at this hotel for one night during a road trip across Germany. We chose the hotel based on nearness to the Arena Leipzig where we saw a Cirque du Soleil show. It was very close and easy access. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the gentlemen who runs the place was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent (not elaborate but very nice) and the room was good.”
Very pleasant stay, spacious room, morgen docaration, helpful reception, convenient location, close to city centre and shopping. The surrounding has some building work going on while we stayed, a bit noisy. Apart of this Novetel is brilliant hotel choice for visiting Leipzig. I definitely would like use it again .”
