Pleasant staff, great location, typical 4 star standard. The restaurant was good value for money. Although we didn't get bathrobes in our room as we did at the Renaissance, which is also a good alternative for Hamburg. However general standard of the hotel was a bit better at the Marriot.”

Very modern hotel, clean and quite. Only complaint is that when we were there the free wifi did not work on the floor we were on. The hotel was about 10 mins from the shopping area and about 15-20 mins from the town hall. It's a beautiful city. Our breakfast was included in our stay and there was heaps to choose from.”

I have stayed at this hotel several times coming from the airport - where the location of this hotel next to the Central station is very convenient. The hotel is quite modern and the rooms decent sized. The only disadvantage is that you have to pay for the internet and no wireless internet is available.”

My husband and I recently stayed here for a night while in Hamburg for a family event. The hotel is a bit older, but is clean and well maintained. It's on a main thoroughfare and not really close to cafes, etc. so take the breakfast at the hotel, even if it's a bit pricey. Wireless internet is available for a fee, but reception is not particularly great at the back of the hotel. We didn't try the pool or spa at all. Service was extremely friendly and they were quick to answer questions or get us anything we needed.”
