Great location to the airport and only 25 minutes into the centre of Stuttgart by S Bhan. The room was so comfortable and the breakfast amazing. 5 stars from me and am looking forward to my next visit.

This hotel was such a surprise. Totally updated located right accross from the main train station. Had a suite that seemed like a trendy loft over looking the main street but was totally sound proof and quite. Every small detail was great from the moment of checkin to the time we left. Very professional and helpfull staff. Had a wonder 3 day stay and would have loved extend our trip. Will stay there again next summer.

It is a very nice hotel near the central train station in Stuttgart. The stay was nice & I was very well received & treated nicely. Either you're visiting for business or vacation, it is a nice place to be.

This is a lovely hotel and so easy for visiting Europa park. The restaurant is good quality (for a buffet), but didn't rate the A La Carte Don Quijote restaurant. There are a few things that could be better, like tea making facilities etc, but nothing major. Try a swim in the Santa Isabel outdoor pool which is beautifully heated so can be used all year round.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. Stayed in a few hotels this summer and this one was amazing. The self service dinner was expensive but well worth it as the food is gorgeous. My 2 kids really enjoyed it. The characters were all around at breakfast and interacted with the kids a lot. The breakfast had and was lovely. The rooms were very spacious and so well designed and maintained. We didn't have a view of the courtyard which would have been better. So definitely recommend getting a room with a view. The hotel had a short walk under a tunnel to get directly into the park. The hotel gave us free tickets the evening we arrived, so we could see the park and see what rides kids liked. Was absolutely brilliant park. We got extra time in mornings and evenings. The shows were so good! Having been to disneyland this park was so much better!! No pushing or shoving for rides, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel and theme park enough!!

The hotel was only 5 minutes from the main station. It was very comfortable, and the rooms were big a quiet. Good quality of linen, shampoos etc, liked the show shine machine. Breakfast was great, excellent location at the edge of the entire CBD, main department store just over the road, and the main street which goes on forever was next to that. The hotel receptionist planned andentire days tour for me, and I completed the lot. The German christmas village and Castle were fantastic. You could not choose a better location for Heidelberg.

The front office staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was large and very clean. The location was easily accessible to all routes either into or out of Heidelberg and, best of all, a 5 minute drive to the Zentrum. I would definitely stay here again!

Just come back from a two night break in the Marriott with friends.Its my second time to stay there and I would highly recommend it as a very clean and comfortable hotel.The staff were always friendly and willing to help with any questions asked.The breakfast was really good with a great selection of hot and cold dishes.The rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable,a good nights sleep was had by all.The Pinte bar is really nice and the staff there really looked after us.It was a nice bar to come back to after a days shopping and sightseeing.

Very convenient location - right next to main train station. Only complaint was no AC, which we needed when we had to shut the window to block out the noises from the trains when going to sleep. Other than that, great experience.

Our family of 4 stayed here for three nights on a driving holiday stopover. Room was made up for us in advance with pull-out couch for 2 daughters (9+7). Hotel is in a very good central location. We found the hotel to be clean and the service good and had a very good prepaid rate excluding breakfast which seemed pricey at Eur11 per person. Can't comment on quality of food in hotel as we did not avail of this option. Used the oriental restaurant across the street and it was good and reasonably priced.Tip: for an excellent Brunch option consider using the restaurant in the nearby Karstadt Dept. store. Yes, I know what you're thinking, but you're wrong. This restaurant has a beautiful buffet restaurant with an incredible array of food, ample comfortable seating and a large outdoor rooftop dining area.The prices are very good and many locals eat here by the looks of things.Parking at the hotel was pricey @ Eur32 for 3 days although this option allowed for us to come and go as often as necessary. We did a 1 day visit to Europa Park on a rainy day and had a great time as there were no queues, watch out for public holidays (German and French) and weekends when this park can get crowded with long wait-times for rides after paying expensive admission charge. Freiburg is a prosperous and orderly university city and worth a look if you're in the area. We took the cable car from the park up to the schloss for some outstanding views of the Black Forest and Freiburg. At the top you can scale a very high viewing tower which is not for the faint hearted as it sways a little. You can then walk back down to the city at a leisurely pace. All in all a good stay at the Mercure at a good rate from Hotels.com

Hotel is in a wonderful location -- across from the train station and within walking distance from restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff!. Our children loved the hotel -- they were given little backpacks with crayons and a coloring book and bottle of water. They used the backpacks for the duration of our trip! The only downside to the hotel is the very small swimming pool...although that would in no way influence our decision to stay here again. Great hotel!!
