This hotel is a tranquil and romantic spot that worked out well for our extended family break over the Chinese New Year holiday. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating despite the fact that this resort is best set up for couples who want a quiet retreat. We arranged a private boat to take us around the Gilli islands for some wonderful snorkeling. We were privileged to swim with three sea turtles. The trip to the new airport was quite distant and we only managed to eat at the hotel but enjoyed every minute of luxury the resort provided.”
This is a Hotel for a great romantic getaway from everything, the staff and service are excellent. Nice beach location and hotel amenites very good. My only negative was the food was no better than anywhere else, even though still good but a little expensive compared to nice restaurant in the Bali and Lombok.”
I have mixed reviews for this hotel. If you stay on the East side of the hotel (near the road) then this hotel is terrible as there is construction (which goes on till 9pm and starts at about 8am! Also there is the noise from the road and the near by chicken farm and worst of all the speaker blasting the muedhin paryers! We stayed on the east side the forst night and then asked to move as we didn't get any sleep AT ALL! Avoid villa's 1 and 18 as they are the noisiest. Each villa has two rooms (top and bottom). I recommend asking for a bottom room as the ceiling is made of cement rather than a thatched roof. I know it's not as charming but it cuts out the noise! Once we moved, this was the best hotel we stayed in throughout our trip in Indonesia so I don't want to put you off. We were so happy here. Breakfast is delicious, Hotel food is outstanding (we had many dinners at the hotel) and the pools and deck chairs are modern and superb. In fact everything is absolutely perfect apart from the noise on the East side so Go and get yourself a villa in the middle or sea front on the bottom floor. I recommend a trip to the waterfalls in the north of Lombok and to the gilli islands if you like snorkelling.”
This is a fabulous hotel / resort. There is nothing not to like!!! Hire a scooter from the village - €4 per day then you can explore the region and eat at other restaurants etc too. Great hotel - lovely pools, beach, free activities, beautiful scenery, perfect rooms, great beds. Class.”
My wife and I spent eight nights in December-January at this very lovely hotel. It was not just a 'normal' Sheraton (which is pretty good anyway) but the particular care and friendliness of the staff made us feel at home. Their enthusiasm was evident at the wonderful new year's eve function--in a marquee, great variety and quality of food, very good entertainment, magical fireworks on the beach and great team drumming with DJs for dancing after midnight. The buffet breakfasts are outstanding in their quality and variety. There are some very nice restaurants nearby too. Lombok is an interesting destination, and many Indonesian as well as other Asian tourists come as well as a diversity of Westerners.”

Me & my cousin stayed 3nites in e deluxe room, which is a rustic little bungalow. The resort is beautifully manicured, full of greenery. It was just so charming. You can also see mount agung frm thr. The beach is also right by the resort. Clear, blue beautiful beach. Current was quite rough though. The other thing that attracts me was the hospitality of the staff. They were just so genuine & friendly. Everybody was always with a smile. Breakfast was good with a variety of western and Indonesian food. We also tried the dinner set meals which were superb. Location of the resort is a little out of the way frm senggigi but you can get thr in less than 10min by cab. We tried the 3hour spa package which was too die for. The spa resort is abt 5-10min drive fm the beach resort but shuttle is provided. Overall, I would strongly recommend this resort for those who wants pure relaxation and wants to be pampered.. I will definitely Stay at the resort again!!”
