Hotels in Liguria

The hotel is located in a quiet area but is a short and safe stroll into the 'center' of town in which you will also have to walk down a flight of stairs (but there is a lift as well). The rooms are well supplied, very clean and lovely decorated, the bathroom and the shower is wonderful. The room was set at a good temperature upon arrival. The front desk was able to give us good instructions and even a great restaurant to eat near the port which was a very good suggestion. The breakfast experience at the restaurant was really bad. All the waiters ignored us despite the fact we were there first and continued to service the Italians first. We ended up setting our own table after waiting about 15 minutes! In addition, the food was limited as they were always running out of food, though they tried to refill it (but not always very efficient at doing so). We went around 11am which appears to be a busy time and they were poorly prepared for a full house.

The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning! It was easy to find. We had a car, and was thrilled that the hotel parked the car for us in an off site lot. It saved us the inconvenience and stress of driving around and finding the lot ourselves. When we needed the car to take a day trip they only required a 15 minute notice and had the car waiting for us out front. This was much appreciated! The hotel was convenient to old town and the aquarium-which should not be missed. Breakfast was a generous spread with lots of choices. Dinner at the restaurant was average, but nice to have the convenience. We had a "family room", which was very large, especially considering European standards!

The location is great. The hotel itself could use an update not too look like its stuck in the 80's. At the same time, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms is still very good as usual. A big improvement is the friendliness of the staff who were extremely kind and friendly this time (for the first time). Usually this was my negative comment but it has improved and if I was not too sure about booking again with them, now I certainly will.

Just stayed one night at the Garden and had a pleasant stay before heading off on our Costa Cruise. The continental breakfast was very appetizing. If you plan on staying there public transportation (bus stop) is very near and can take you to the port for about €2 as apposed to a €20 cab fare

We stayed the night of the Concordia disaster, we were to embark the next morning. Miro took us back and took care of us while we waited for Costa to setup our return to the USA. Paola was awesome, she helped us through all of the phone calls and she is a friend now. Miro is located on the Palm Riviera and we could tell from the view it would be a great March - November stay. January can be cold and it was, but the staff there warmed us up and kept us informed. The buffet dinner Mon - Thurs and the breakfast every morning were wonderful...

Lovely staff and very comfortable room. We'll go again.

You have to say here to see how good it is, This is a medieval building on a medieval old town. But the comfort was modern. The breakfast and it's location was as good as I have every had.

The hotel is a 15-20 mins walk from the train station. Very easy to find from the coastal street. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They make excellent cappuccino for breakfast. A drawback was that they gave us a room with a single bed (for two girls). Also, we could only make a payment in cash. Overall, however, we thought it is a good place to stay in Ventimiglia.

This hotel was fabulous for us. All the staff were friendly & helpful, the room was clean, the beds/pillows were comfortable, breakfast was great & everything you need in the morning (bread, ham, cheese, croissants, cake, yoghurt, cereals, fruit, jams, juice, coffee), and only about 5 mins walk to the beach & 20 mins (power walk) to the train station, or 5 min cab ride. Had to pay for internet but you could purchase either E3 for 1 hr, E5 for 1 day or E10 for 24 hours over the space of a year, and we had no problems with the wifi at all while we were there. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, and would go back!
