Hotels in Lombardy

The hotel was very handy to the Doumo and comfortable. the staff were helpful and the breakfast oustanding. I would reccomend it for someone visiting Milan. It is also just 100 metres from a metro station. It is modern has no particular character as a venue but it performs the function of providing good reasonably priced (in expensive Milan).

For me the best thing about this hotel is that it is close to malpensa shuttle bus service. The rooms were very clean although old fashioned and breakfast was better than expected. Excellent value hotel, if you choose to stay near the train station choose this!

Simone at the front desk was quite fluent in English and exceptionally friendly and helpful (his local restaurant recommendations were spot on for quality, fun, and affordability). The breakfast was delicious-- we even had fresh blueberries to go with our yogurt! The nearby gelateria, Pixy, was a great treat and the close by supermarket a godsend. Location was quiet and convenient-- a mere 15 minutes by taxi to the Linate Airport and an easy tram ride to the Duomo at the heart of town.

The hotel is located superbly once you take the boat which only costs Euro 18 each way. The night receptionist with the name Abdul is a really good and caring man, we arrived very tired at night after 6 hours drive from Innsbruck and I can say he made the welcome at ease. He was instrumental in making my hotel stay one of the highest.. I do recommend this hotel and Abdul the receptionist is really a true gentleman with great professionalism. Breakfast was more than enough and plenty and no waiting time. Parking infront of hotel is easy also. I do recommend this hotel and would like to go again. Other receptionists were good aswell but Abdul is just superb.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. so easy to access everywhere and Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. rooms are a bit basic compared to a 4 star in ireland but ti is a very clean hotel and had a lovely stay.

The hotel was beautifully situated and we had a family room overlooking the lake and Bellagio. The ferry to Bellagio was within 100 metres. We thought that the location was close to the best areas on the lake. The hotel is a little old fashioned and attracts a quite elderly clientele, however this did not detract from our two night stay as we wanted a nice clean roon to sleep in and wanted to be out the rest of the time. The hotel fitted our criteria at a good price and i would recommend it to someone with a similar outlook, but it would disappoint someone looking for something a bit special.

We chose to have a room with a view of the lake but nowhere did it tell us that you didn't get the sun after about 9:00 am! A better option would be to have a room with a view of the pool and gardens as they get the sun for most of the day. The room was much smaller than we had anticipated from the photographs but it was very clean; the balcony was also very small. Hotel food and drink were very expensive so we opted to eat out each night.

this hotel was exceptional. beautiful inside and out with a very professional and helpful staff. we didn't want to leave. located on a fabulous lake situated in a cute little village with views of the alps close by. i would go back in an instant.

Hotel Milan ... Lac is first-rate. Great location, clean, and efficient--our room made up quickly each of the 5 days we were there. Also, the young ladies at the desk are among the nicest, friendliest, and most helpful of any Italian hotel I have stayed in. Of course, Italians are friendly and nice, but the people at Hotel Milan... are exceptional. The hotel suited us perfectly; I highly recommend it. jas - USA

Convenient for an overnight stay if flying from Bergamo Airport. Good price and had all the amenities required. Would go back.
