The hotel was very nice, as was the staff. It is located a bit far from all of the excitement, but if you don't mind a good walk then that is ok. The breakfast was a bit expensive but the closet cafe was about two "blocks" away and a pedestrian bridge away. The give you a free water taxi to see a murano glass shop in Murano, but then you have to find your own way back since we made a large purchase they gave us a free water taxi ride back to Venice.”
great place around the corner from the train station. lovely old abbey, pretty rooms, good breakast, wonderful friendly staff, reasonable rates. If you don't want to haul your luggage thru the streets of Venice this is the place for you. Have fun!”
Fantastic location just steps away from the train station (there is nowhere worse than Venice to be lugging your suitcases around!) Great breakfast, clean hotel, and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.”
This hotel was very nice and there was no problem speaking English with them. We arrived late and the room was ready. We were able to park in the secure hotel garage to keep the car cool as it was quite warm - between 33 and 40 Celsius outside. Don't forget to bring the swim suit to cool off in the pool. The distance to Verona is 10-15 minutes and we got great advice where to park there. We used a GPS to drive in Italy and I'd recommend using one as things can get confusing on country/local roads. The breakfast buffet was great, especially the espresso/cappuccino and service. However, you can hear the trains during breakfast, which could be a problem for a few seconds. But it was not a problem inside the room. Definitely a hotel I'd go to again.”
We stayed at accademia for just one night and we were happy we did! Ideal location in the heart of verona makes this hotel perfect for short stays. Excellent service from the bell-hops and a nice clean room made our stay a lot easier. My only complaint was the price for parking. 23 euro per night isn't a lot but we found out later that free parking was available locally. Wish we could have stayed longer in this wonderful town and lovely hotel.”
Excellent Hotel, magnificent location at Verona downtown, very convenient for traveling with kids and for walking around downtown. The Hotel facilities are good, The room was very good equipped (two Flat TV's, Kitchenette, bathrom with hydromassage). The breakfast quality is quite good and the hotel's staff with and excellent service oriented attitude.”
We are very satisfied with this hotel and often come back here. I would like to mention the man from recepcion - Fabio, who was very efficient to found us room for one more night when hotel was fully booked.”
Perfect hotel for business or leisure ! all big and comfort, great food, perfect stuff and service ! the only problem is the location... its good for road-trip, business or just to relax and have fun in the hotel.”
Have stayed here before would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel It has to rate as one of the best hotels I have stayed in Italy.Clean a nice breakfast in lovely surroundings situated beside train and bus stations, taxi rank and tram .Venice only a short trip by train or bus.A short walk to St.Anthonys Basilica.”
we chose the hotel because of its location. it is just opposite the mestre train station, which handy for our trip to Rome. 10 mins to Venice. The room is very clean and its a very modern hotel. The staff at the reception are helpful and friendly. we recommend for this hotel.”
I enjoy camping and the bungalow provided for us was wonderful, it had its own small bathroom and bed linens what it does not have is towels or room service and cleaning so don't get this confused with a hotel it is indeed a camp ground. If you don't need much more than a place to sleep its a great place for you.”
Wonderful hotel, which we have used from 2000. Convenient hotel directly across from the train station. Clean, functional and decent, closer to business than tourist class although many international tours utilize the hotel. Acceptable wifi, breakfast and excellent customer service.”
