I recommend this hotel. On Metro line that makes the sites convenient. Great breakfast. Checkin person had an attitude but perhaps this comes with being in Rome. Only negative thing--no wifi. I would stay here again.”
With Spanish Steps on left hand side of the building, the small cosy hotel is very convenience to travelers. Only 5 mins walk to Spagna metro station, with splendid tearooms nextdoor or next to spanish steps, also nice restaurants one block behind, as well as carrefour express just a couple blocks behind. The breakfast is great, nice view from roof restaurant. Strong hot water shower, warm room if visit during cold weather. Only it doesn't provide slippers or free wifi, other than that, everything is great.”
Everything was great except the receptionist at the desk when we checked in was a bit rude. We were on a very tight schedule and she ignored us for 15 minutes after we gave our name (there were no other guests there, she just seemed uninterested in helping us!) Other than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was fantastic. The central location can't be beat!”
The Hotel is convenient for the airport with a shuttle service running every 30 minutes. There is nothing around the hotel so is best use as a 'transit' hotel. Hotel is new, staff are friendly and rooms are clean and modern.”
Not easy to find on the side street with minimal signage. Is an apartment building with hotel included. Wonderful friendly staff. Residential neighborhood with easy parking and access to airport. Half hour walk to the beach.”
Typical Hilton. They are consistently do a good job for us. The only complaint is the signs to get there from the terminal were very hard to find. Walked around for an hour after a 9 hr flight. Head for the car rental and then follow signs from there.”
I found this to be an excellent accommodation for our needs prior to going to the cruise ship. The staff were friendly and courteous, spoke good english and advised us of the area and arrangements for the cruise. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel for people embarking on a cruise.”
The good thing about this hotel was the Hotels Transportation which picked us up at Rome Airport and was waiting for us to take us to the hotel about 45 minutes at 140euro for 4 of us with a lot of luggage this was a good service. Also they provided free shuttle to the port the next morning. The one bad thing is that the Hotels Restaurant which we were looking forward to using was actually closed for the season and was opening the following day which we should have been informed as there is not a lot around the area, however we found a REstaurant 5 minute walk called Ideale which was one of the highlights of our holiday the Fish soup - which was actually a huge meal in itself was the best fish we had ever tasted in our life, so maybe the hotel did us a favour. Rooms are very small but clean but ideal for a stay over. Staff very helpful & friendly”
Hotel has a great location and large, well appointed rooms, some overlooking the seafront. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant excellent. Check prices at the bar before ordering - drink prices can be a shock to North Americans. Hotel operates a convenient shuttle to cruise ship terminals.”
Highly recommend, hotel decorated wonderful and very clean. The staff was the best I have ever experienced. Our rental car broke down and they helped us deal with the rental company and gave us a complimentary room to relax in. Best ever experience I had in a hotel.”
I liked the place very much as it was in a quiet area even though there was traffic on the main streets. Their restaurant was reasonably priced and the food very good. The hotel was about 200 meters from the old city making it readily accessible. If you didn't want to eat at the restaurant but in the old city, you ended up walking this same stretch multiple times a day. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as the staff was also very helpful in making me feel comfortable at the hotel itself and in Viterbo.”
The Balletti was a good value when booked through Hotels.com. The room was large and nicely maintained. The A/C did not cool as well as we would have liked. The breakfast was good and this was a good location for driving to the hill cities in Umbria. We had to book an additional night earlier in the week and did not receive as good a rate.”
