To be right on the "island " of Gallipoli is a step back in time. No worry about noise, the building is built like a castle. Staff was wonderful and you have a fridge stocked with drinks. Couldn't have asked for better. Would have loved to stay longer!”

The old part or historic center of Gallipoli is quite small so I would recommend just 1-2 days here. Parking near the hotel is difficult.”

Free shuttle bus on-demand to or from a lovely, clean town. Free wi-fi. Free breakfast. Room safe. Very quiet locarion, but not much there. Take the shuttle to town.”

The hotel was quiet a distance from the train station, but very convenient to the beach. It cost 10 euros to take a taxi from the train station, and another 12 euros to take the hotel shuttle back to the train station. The bathroom was nice and roomy, except there was some mold on the crease of the bathtub.”

Beautiful exteriors, set in peaceful grounds, an oasis of tranquility. For the number of rooms the external facilities are very spacious, a large swimming pool, elegant restaurant setting, simple, good non fussy local cusine. Excellent service all round, the staff were very professional and friendly, they can help with all kind of local bookings and recommendations. The resort has held onto many 4 star qualities even though it was downgraded to 3 star (I suspect they will soon reclaim 4 star). The standard rooms and bathroom are unexpectedly small especially given the spacious feel of the resort but if you're travelling round the area (and Ostuni is strategic for visiting numerous points of interest), then this becomes less of a priority. Large breakfast buffet, served in beautiful large room, opening onto the hotel gardens. For August, the location was perfect, away from the busy bustle of Ostuni town. Besides the standard room dimension, there is nothing else you could fault the hotel.”
