New rooms are just great, the old not so much. But we got the upgrade for free. Rich buffet breakfast. Convenient location, close to the train station and city center. Olny problem: the staff doest not speak english...”
We were very happy wth everythign about the hotel The only comment I could make that I was not 100% happy with was I rang the night before my stay and aksed for directions to arrive from the ferry. i told the man at reception I wanted to catch the bus from the ferry and then walk from there, was it possible and he said no I had to catch taxi. I did not want to catch a taxi at 15 euro so I found my own way to the hotel by asking on reviews and looking up bus timetables etc (.80euro) and then asking people on the way when I got off the bus how to aririve at the hotel. I got there but it would have been so much easier if he had given me the easy directions on how to arrive via public transport as it is very doable as long as you know how to get there.”
The hotel is in line with the standards of a three star italian hotel, and is very close to all spots of touristic interest in Bari. Two things were far from perfect. It was Winter during my stay, but it was warm in Bari (20 °C). The heating, thuogh, was not regulated and the room was unconfortably hot. The shower box is really cramped and it is hard to move. The rest, perfect.”
We really enjoyed our week in Galipolli! Romain and Andrea were extremely helpful, booking and suggesting restaurants, visits and even the hairdresser! My only suggestion - NOT complaint - for our room (Pellicano) would be a full length mirror, chest of drawers, table and chair and some shelves in the bathroom. The room was large and there was plenty of space, but it could have been used more efficiently! Breakfast up on the terrace was lovely - a great start to the day. The beach area was lovely too - one of the only ones open this late in the season, with changing space and clean toilets! So many places to see and unfortunately, not enough time - we will be back!”
I was surprised to receive an upgrade to the accomodation I had booked and the suite was one of the best I have experienced and I have travelled on most continents through business and pleasure. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast which I though lacked value however the quality of what was available was very good and the staff were very attentive”
Finding the hotel in the middle of Gallipoli's Old Town was a bit of a challenge, but once inside I was amazed. The place is smack in the middle of Gallipoli. Beautifully decorated, super clean and the staff are friendly and very efficient. It has a beautiful terrace where you have breakfast overlooking Gallipoli. Amazing place for sundowners. Will stay there again for sure.”
Free shuttle bus on-demand to or from a lovely, clean town. Free wi-fi. Free breakfast. Room safe. Very quiet locarion, but not much there. Take the shuttle to town.”
