Excellent Hotel - really clean and stylish - great price too. My advise would be to try and get the top floor rooms as the rooms are spectacular. However its not close to the beach and nightlife scene...but the quality of the hotel and staff more than make up for it......only place i will stay in Cagliari!”
The hotel was under "Jolly" hotel in the GPS and the sign only said hotel on it but it was very close to the airport. A very clean and cozy hotel to stay at our last day in Cagliari with a grocery store next door. Surprisingly beautiful on the inside and the rooms were very lovely. The night host gentleman was very nice and the hotel offers secure parking with a overnight attendant to watch the vehicles. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”
We arrived at the Holiday the night before leaving Sardinia. On arrival we were impressed with the quality of the hotel, the furnishing, decor and the pool area was a nice surprise. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant served excellent food. The hotel is also very convenient for the airport which is only 15 minutes away.”
We very much enjoyed the Hotel Punta Negra from the moment we arrived. The registration staff was fun to chat with, and enjoyed our attempts at speaking Italian. It is a must at this hotel, get a sea view room... very much worth the few extra dollars. The hotel is tucked away with its own private little beach in a cove, so it is very quiet. There are two pools and a tennis court as well. We never knew who our room attendant was, but it was nice to receive the little extras when requested... such as extra pillows (a must in Italy, it seems) The restaurant has a great breakfast buffet which is included, we were pretty impressed with it. Over our stay we had dinner twice. One time it was good, the other time it was just OK. About the only flaw I would say about the hotel is the smugness of the Matradee. The servers more than made up for him though, with great personalities and service. Over all I have to stay that of the hotels we have stayed at, this one has been one of the better. In fact, we had left for an adventure on another part of the island, and then decided we wanted to return to The Hotel Punta Negra for the remainder of our holiday. Which we did, and were greeted with enthusiasm!”
great location good beach across the road, 10 mins walk to the old town, very clean felt like it was newly renovated, good breakfast buffet (mostly cake tho), nice Occitane products in bathroom, which was unexpected for a 3 star.”
This hotel really ticks all the boxezs very clean and comfortable. Best (and most silent) airconditioning I've ever experienced although we did have a recently refurbished room. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Very large pool and small beach nearby with plenty of beds availabe. About 15 minutes walk from town so all in all a lovely experience.”
Stayed at Hotel Margherita for 1 week in July 2011. Beautiful, excellent clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, good food. Well maintained garden and pool. Ideal to stay in or as we did use it as a bade to explore North East Sardinia. Beautiful island unspoiled as yet by tourism.”
