I would definitely recommend this hotel. If I had to be pushed to say anything bad it would be that they could try to improve on the noise of the room doors opening/closing and maybe the hotel could look into this. The rooms are spotless though and tastefully laid out as is the hotel throughout. The general area if the neighbourhood is top class for a few days away to relax. I would certainly pick this hotel again when I next return to Santander.”
Although not too close to the town centre for shopping, the football stadium is only 2 minutes walk. We were amazed that for almost the same cost of staying at an Ibis Hotel we were provided with such a large deluxe room. The staff although not fluent in English were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was closed for the evening but the menu for the day and bar food was all freshly cooked and very good. We would definitely stay there again if visiting or passing through Santander. Most important as we were trying to sort out our business at the same time - free WIFI and no hassle”
Good place overall, but some faded elegance catching up on it! Room was excellent and great views across the sea. Good spot for beaches but town a bit of a hike (25 mins) on foot. Expensive bar and food - but we got agood rate so no complaints. Free car park a bonus!”

A good spot to stay before getting the ferry from Santander. Lovely hotel with character. Gorgeous bakery up the road, but not much else around. Amazing looking spa attached to the hotel, but despite the hotel saying it has a pool - you have to pay €18 each to use the one at the spa, and the children's pool is only open at the weekend. Very disappoininting, as that was the main reason we had picked the hotel. We resorted to using the public pool just over the road for €8 for 3 of us.”

This family run hotel provides the special service only available when the family is fully involved. The cleanliness of the whole hotel is maintained by a fleet of cleaning staff, (in immaculate white outfits) ensuring everywhere gleamed. The decor and numerous paintings and ornaments compliment the 18th century building. Although the dining room is attractive and the service good, the food did not quite match up and several dishes were rather salty. Breakfast was more than adequate but not special. Although on the main road through the town, the hotel is peaceful and quiet, and fully recommended, particularly for a short stay.”
What a find! Staff were all brilliant and spoke excellent English. Food was very good with good choice and a restaurant overlooking golf course. Excellent spa facilities. Our spacious room even had a balcony with table and chairs to sit out. Bathroom well stocked with toiletries etc. We booked last minute on our Kindle to break our journey back to France and were amazed at how brilliant this modern hotel was. Would definitely recommend.”
