We stayed in the hotel for two nights and found it ideal for what we needed. It's less than 10 min walk to Las Ramblas and is also near the Marina. We where getting the train to Salou also so the hotels location to Estacio De Franca was perfect (only across the road). The hotel room was small but had very good air conditioning so it was very comfortable to sleep in. It's a perfect hotel for those who will be out most of the day and only require the room to rest their heads at night. I plan on going to Barcelona again and I would certainly stay in this hotel again.”
The hotel was very good and its facilities were great - in particular the 11th floor outdoor sitting area. The hotel is situated in a local neighbourhood area, therefore the local amenities were rather for a local community rather than tourists. However, not too far away from Las Ramblas and it seemed quite safe to walk at night.”
Excellent location , close to Metro & pick up points for Tours .{ Montserrat Tour is a must see.} Hotel rooms clean, spacious and quiet .Staff friendly . Many bars , restaurants and shops close by with the Old Town and Port in walking distance . No problem recommending The Royal Ramblas.”
Great location, but Sitges is an unusual town, we had heard that the beaches were great and they were and we also heard that Sitges was a popular gay resort. We did not realize how popular and I joked with my wife that she was the only women in the hotel, which was nearly true. I am not sure where the "straight" couples stay, but would look around more next time.”
We booked the lowest grade of room so on check in received the very back room with no view however very spacious and nice. We then upgraded with money to a suite which was truly worth it. The hotel overall was perfect and would definitely recommend it.”
I had a very large room with a kitchenette and balcony over looking the pool. The room was clean and airy. Simply, but nicely decorated. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth the price...:)”
This was a fantastic place to stay. There was free transport to the theme park, and it was nice and quiet at night. On the flip-side, it was not a long walk at all to restaurants, the beach, and the party scene. We felt safe walking back at night, and all the staff were lovely and very professional. I would definitely return”
We stayed at the Blaumar for a long weekend in July and found it to be very nice for a beach vacation. It is located beachfront across the street from a very nice walking promenade. Surrounding area is nice with shops and restaurants. The hotel room had a small kitchenette area that was convenient. Would return for another beach trip.”
We booked for a party of 10 and had 5 rooms which were all quite large and roomy, all had sea views our party were delighted with their rooms. Overall the hotel was quite nice and close to the beach and Roses town. We arrive at the end of the season but the hotel was still very busy. We stayed for six nights and were full board, the food was bland but ok and we had a very good choice of dishes but that was for just the first 2 days only. Then food was poor in quality and choice in the last 4 days of the holiday maybe they were just using left overs!!!. Also plates were cold so food ended up cold too?”
