the hotel was in a great location, no more than 5 mins from anything, only draw back was a) the heat in july, way too hot and b) the swimming pool is quite small, the hotel itself was great and the cafe did great food at great prices, european breakfast and very helpful staff, can say enought about location, 5 mins to everything.”
Bookings easy with hotels.com. Location was known beforehand. Room was comfortable and well maintained/serviced. Television channels were extremely limited-four and no Andalucian channel and complete absence of sports channels. Otherwise it was as we expected.”
Not easy to find on GPS if arriving by car: but there is an underground parking lot on Av. De. Menendez Pelayo at the corner of Calle San Jose. From there anyone can tell you where the hotel is, its only about two blocks away.”
The first time we stayed at this hotel was a few years ago. we travel to the area a few times a year and wouldnt think of staying anywhere else. In fact we will book the flights around whatever dates we can book the hotel for. we have always found the service and the staff excellent. we are very happy with it :)”
The Aloha Gardens is a very nice place for young and old, with an indoor heated pool, hot-tub and beautiful grounds. There is ample free car parking at the front of the hotel. The Apartment was clean , spacious and comfortable, with great views of the fireworks displays from the rooftop of the apartment on NYE. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and there is a supermarket nearby also for convenience. However the hotel may be difficult to find for tourists. The hotel is off the beaten track ( which is good too!!) I would suggest a rental car is needed for anyone staying in this area of Puerto banus/Marbella”
Fantastic, friendly staff. Best location in Marbella, super beach and next door to Nikki Beach. Didn't try to restaurants, but overall a great experience”

The quality of food was fantastic, we only stayed for a week but sometimes found choices difficult as there was such a lovely variety. Would definitely recommend to families. Two downsides, the outside pool is freezing (April) the sun loungers are really uncomfortable hotel should invest in some cushions.”

Stayed overnight on a weekend and were happy that they were able to give us a room very early, by 11am. The desk clerk was very friendly, with good English skills. Had a small room, overlooking the pool/ party/ garden area. The room clean and in good condition. The air conditioning was very powerful, but we had no control over the temperature or fan. The bathroom was nice with a small tub and hand-held shower head. We had a 7am flight to catch on Sunday. Ear plugs were required to get to sleep Saturday night: the entertainment by the pool was guitars and singing that the partiers enthusiastically enjoyed. Has a full restaurant attached to the hotel. We paid for breakfast along with the room: we were surprised and grateful that they set it up so we could sit down in the restaurant to eat, even though it was very early. We paid separately for both lunch, dinner, and drinks at the hotel's restaurant and outdoor bar. Food was a buffet with a few choices that were simple and filling. Servers were helpful since we were confused about the restaurant rules, but they did not speak English, get any information you need from the desk clerk before you go in to the restaurant. It's located away from the beach and you have to cross the train tracks to get there. The only way we got there was through a below-ground tunnel that was a little scary. The walk takes 10 to 15 minutes if you have trouble walking and need to stop to rest on one of the benches along the way. Nice neighborhood for walking during the day and we (2 single women) felt safe both as we were walking and along the beach). There is no where comfortable to sit along the beach unless you want to pay for chairs next to the many restaurants that can be rented for a few euros.”
Long weekend in Torremolinos., weather unexpectedly bad, but hotel more than made up for this. fabulous location, excellent rooms and fantastic breakfast. A trip to Malaga a must when weather is bad, went to the castle, harbour and found a great cheap tapas bar - Meson Gibralfaro. Would definately come back to this resort and hotel.”
