Close to the airport and downtown, but with it's own beach and waterfront views. What a beautiful spot. I was in Tampa for a Leafs/Lightning hockey game with a friend and we are already planning the return trip with our families to this hotel. The food from the attached restaurant is good and reasonably priced. If there is a negative, it would be traffic noise, mostly during the day, but it is a small sacrifice to pay for the location and accessibility the highway provides.”
The room was spacious and clean. There were vending machines and an ice machine on our floor. My only complaint was the shuttle service. It was atrocious. I stayed there on new years eve and apparently they were not prepared for all of the people that stayed there. They only had one shuttle running that night. There was a short wait to get to our destination. However, on the return trip we called for pick up at 12:30am and did not get picked up until 2:00am. This was unacceptable. Otherwise everything was fine.”
The hotel was clean, however in the morning I found a roach in the bathtub. This is good value for your money, it was very convenient to the airport and easy to get to. The grounds were well kept and the room was clean with the exception of the bug and the kitchen floor had not been washed. Having the restaurant next door was a real plus. I would stay there again.”
Easy access from airport. Central to most things in Clearwater. Best thing was the restaurant! Super affordable and very hardworking staff that have the buffet breakfast ready in the am and are still working at 10:00 pm or whenever you've finished your appies and drink. Definitely would go back!”
Staff very friendly and helpful. Water pressure a little low, but can be rectified by deep cleansing of the shower head, and other fixtures. Free coffee is always a plus for me! Swimming pool nice, needed a good cleaning, tho. No fresh fruit at breakfast room, but for free I'm not complaining! There's and IHOP next door, you can get a full meal there. Love the huge new TV's! I would stay here again!”
Hotel nice but "breakfast served" is a joke! No tables and not a table to sit at in sight. Breakfast service set up in small loby of hotel. No shampoo etc in room but was available if you asked for it at the check-in desk.”
The staff at this hotel is soooo friendly. It is beautifully decorated, and they have a lovely reception every evening for hotel guests. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars etc. The walls are THIN, so if you are planning on having a wild weekend, maybe not tthe place for you. Wonderful and will def stay here again!!!”
No complaints. Staff was always courteous and helpful. Rates reasonable. Very little of use or interest within easy walking distance so a car is a necessity. Easy driving distance to Tropicana field which was our major interest and also to other attractions such as museums and restaurants.”
On arrival we were made very welcome by the manager who brought us each a cup of coffee. The room while not particularly modern had a 'cottage' feel about it which made it feel very cosy. It was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. All guests were invited for a free drink and nibbles at 6pm to get to know the manager and and other guests which was nice.”
My husband and I spent 6 days here post cuise before heading back home.We were in a deluxe room with kitchenette and balcony. We appreciated this very much. Our room on the 7th floor overlooked the pool below and the beach and gulf beyond-perfect,. The room itself was large and very clean.Housekeeping excellent.Beds very comfortable. The bathroom, however ,is small and lighting dark,. Troubles with shower were taken care of promptly when we reported same.Kitchenette stocked with dishes ,pot, pans, and cutlery,even wine glasses.Equipped with fridge and stove top.Walgreens drugstore across the street and Publix for groceries one block away for any needs. Many restaurants in walking distance including 2 on site.. Appreciated the free parking and free wi fi.We loved staying here and would come back.”
Excellent Hotel, staff were lovely and very helpful and efficient, our room was very clean, comfortable and up to date, we were on the top floor with a Marina view, where we watched Dolphins and the local boats pass through. This Hotel is located across from the beach and within walking distance to the local bars and restaurants like Ricky T's and Sloppy Joe's, and a couple of shops. John's Pass is approximately a mile an half to the right of the hotel and a pleasant walk in the evening where you will find lots of local shops and restaurants, you can also book boats trips for fishing and dolphin sightseeing there. This Hotel is ideally situated for visiting Clear water where you will find the best beach i have come across with its cool white powdery sands, definitely worth a visit. Clear water is about 15 miles up the coastal road, their is a local bus that you can get for the about 4 dollars return. I would definitely come back to this Hotel and will be recommending this to my family and friends.”
