We had booked a classic room but they didn't have any so they upgraded us to a deluxe room with a view of the sea without any extra charge. The front disk staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, It was very nice welcoming from the hotel to be offerring upon arrivel a 5 drinks from the mini bar free as well as to find a small box of chocolate on the bed. This little things makes you feel good when you just arrived tired and in need of water or any cold drink. Very cleaned room with lovely decore The bed and the pilows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and bright and it was nice to have a bidet in the bathroom. The only thing I didn't like was the hair dryer. We really enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely recommend Elysee Palace to all our friends and family.”
Hotel Location was perfect... Overall the Decor in the Bedroom was very dated & certainly needs to be given a "make over".. A Simple coat of Paint would go a long way ! Didnt have Breakfast in the Hotel so cant comment on that. Did have a evening Meal in their Restaurant & it was very good. But again too expensive (€13.80 for a Vodka & Diet Coke !!) .Public transport between Airport & hotel very cheap & easy...The No. 98 Bus is the one to take.. Nice is a lovely City BUT it is So very Expensive, Food, Drink, clothes everything....It makes Ireland look cheap.... I prefer Sorrento !”
Lovely hotel, right across from the Med, however the ocean seemed very unsafe, strong currents and waves plus very rocky beach. Only saw 2 people using the ocean during my four night say! Also, if you wished to used the facilities of the hotel swimming pool, add another €18 a day to your trip to utilise the sunbeds with cushions! The hotel was a €18 taxi ride to the real city centre!”
Hotel 3-14 is in a great location. Half way between la croisette and rue d'Antibes. What more could a girl want?? Cafe's all around. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We were given an "AFRICA" room. (Each floor is a different theme) The decor was good, but the room was quite dark. They used to have bathrobes and slippers for your use, but this time it was only the bath robes. The bar by the swimming pool on the roof was a great place to sit and relax. We didn't manage to try out the spa (maybe next time!) We've stayed there before, and would probably do so again (unless something drastic happens) The concierge were very helpful trying to sort out our change of tickets.”
Three family members (18 and older) stayed here for a week and could not have been happier. Very clean; friendly, helpful staff; beautiful, peaceful pool; great breakfast buffet. Our room had a terrace overlooking the pool. The Hotel de Paris is about 7 - 10 minutes from the beach and you get a discount at a great private beach if you're staying there. It is a little off the beaten path, but a 2 block walk puts you in a great shopping/eating area. Wonderful bakery/sandwich shop 1 block away. Very reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend it!”
I found this hotel very good for how much it cost. It's in a very good location, right beside the train station and within easy reach of the seafront, shopping area and the main bars and restaurants in Cannes. The breakfast was very good, there was a good choice of cereals, jams, fruits etc. Our room was a bit small but it was fine for our 3 night stay.”
I have stayed recently for a 4 night stay in hotel royal riviera with my husband and would have no problem recommending this hotel. We had fantastic weather for 2nd week in Oct. so we made great use of the pool. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent from the pool attendant to restaurant staff to cleaning staff. I think the hotel suits couples rather than families as I would be very conscious if my teenagers were jumping into pool or making any type of noise plus at 6euro for small bottle of still water at pool it would work out pretty expensive. We booked mountain view room with queen size bed however on arrival I was disappointed with size of room and size of double bed I pointed this out to reception and showed them confirmation e-mail from hotels .com but was told no queen size bed available. I was shown a room in the orangie which we could upgrade to at an extra cost of 168 euro per day..needless to say we didnt take it. Apart from size of room we really couldnt complain about hotel. It was our first time in this part of France and found taxis very expensive..we were charged 89 euro from nice airport to hotel whereas it cost 65 from hotel to airport. perhaps it would be good idea to book transfers prior to arrival. Also public transport system is excellent if you want to tour. It cost just 9 euro return for traine journey to Monacco. A trip to nearby Eze by taxi cost us 45euro to get there and a mere 2 euro by public bus to get back. In saying that I would highly recommend paying Eze a visit its very beautiful. I would return to this hotel but would definitely like a bigger room and bigger bed! Our breakfast was included which was good as its quite a walk to nearest cafe didnt eat in dining room so cant comment on this”
The only problem we had was with the Church bells which were heard too often and twice every hour in the middle of the night-disturbed our sleep!”
