I enjoyed my 1-night stay at this hotel, which turned out to be more of a studio. I had booked a standard room but was surprised at the size of the space. It contained a bedroom area and a living room space which could be separated by a room divider screen. There was also a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom had both a standing shower AND and bath. The breakfast was 13 euros extra so I took a hearty breakfast at Mezzo in Lister Meile on the other side of the busy Hamburger Allee for only 9 euros instead. The free hotel wi-fi was great and the staff were polite and courteous. It is only a 10 minute walk under the train tracks to the central station and a host of restaurants and shops. As a female travelling alone on business I felt safe in Hannover and found it to be a friendly city. I would certainly return to this hotel on my next visit to Hannover.”
Lovely room and very quiet even though it is close to the airport. Staff are always polite. The description showed the dial up internet as having a surcharge but there was no mention of a surcharge for wireless internet service - this should be added as it is not free. The dial up was 8 euros per hour which is very expensive. Why not give us complimentary access and more business people would come back. It makes a big difference when there is so much choice.”
this hotel is very nice. singleroom is not so big but i felt comfortable when i was there. The location is the best because it's next to shopping centre in addition, it's opposite to central station which i could walk for 1 minute. It's really near to opera house as well. I went to see the performance and i didnt need to be worried if i have to walk back by myself at night because it's very close. Inside is clean and bright and the restaurant looks nice. I recommend this hotel!”
Loved staying here, the facilities were marvelous, sauna and whirlpool and pool and work-out rooms were much appreciated. Setting in the park gorgeous, and made it both easy and a pleasure to use the park for running. The hotel also rents bikes, so you can explore the park or the city that way. woke up to birds chirping, it was very quiet at night, and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I missed was free internet access.... and note altho I did have breakfast at the hotel which was delicious (hand-squeezed blood orange juice!), there are less expensive options 5-10min walk from hotel.”
On route to Denmark from Uk we stayed at the holiday Inn. Super clean and friendly hotel. Room was lovely and had everything you needed. Breakfast next morning was super - just couldnt falt this place, would def. used again :)”
It was a nice hotel and great room. But we didnt see any firealarm on the room? we also thought that the service at the breakfast was not the best. The manager didnt smile and if we asked him for a straw he looked like we had asked him for something impossible. But othervise it was agreat hotel.”
The hotel seems to be a bit out-of-date; of course it looks like a standard Tryp hotel (they seem to be the same all over the world); however if you take a closer look, you will find many spots on the floor; it looks a bit worn-out. Yet, it is quite remote from busy roads, so sleep is quite ok. Distance to train station approx.. 1,5 km. Distance to city centre: approx. 3 km”
We went to this hotel looking fro a nearby hotel from Hanover during a trade show that sent the prices of the Hanover hotels to the sky, and then we arrived at Celle, an incredible and beautiful town, the hotel was nice, but the town is amazing. The only problem with the hotel is that the people attending the front desk are kind but not flexible, we needed an extra hour for check out (1:00 pm) and they were not nice but upset about it, and willing to charge an extra evening fro that.”
Truely a five star experience. Elegant and graceful; romantic too. Staff speaks English. Awesome breakfast with your stay. About 3/4 mile from the Celle train station which makes for a nice walk. The city center is very close by and a nice place to shop and eat. Will be returning to this hotel. Italian restuarant on the property was delicious. The best place I have ever stayed in Europe.”
Spectacular hotel, but very expensive. They had my reservation but they couldn't find that I had already paid for my stay, so I was charged again and had to call their accounting office later and they quickly refunded the overpayment.”
Great location for a short drive to the Autostadt. Great service in the bar/restaurant.”
