I would fully recommnend this hotel. I stayed here for four nights and I had no complaints at all. Very convenient location....only a few minutes walk from the main train station and from the city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the single room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Similarly, the en-suite was of a high standard. When I'm next in Cologne I will be staying here again.”
The receptionist was very warm and friendly, and spoke good English. The room was very comfortable and clean. Location-wise, it was within walking distance to the Dom, so it was accessible to most places within minutes. Only concern was that the room itself did not have a heater (but the bathroom did), but the duvet was good enough.”
Over all the hotel was lovely. It's not central to the main station but a 3 minute train ride out of Central. The walk to the Cathedral is about 15 minutes, due to the fact that it takes a bit of zig zagging through the streets to get there.”
Very nice hotel. Top quality lobby/reception. High tech room keys and elevators but easy to use. Spotless, fresh, quiet room with top class fittings and decor. The bar was nice with cold beer and friendly staff. Bistro is very good. Menu is short but food was very tasty and the Martinis were great. Little bit expensive for business hotel restaurant but not for the quality of the food. Overall much better than I expected for what I paid. Was obvious though that occupancy was low. Maybe this accounts for the low price.”
We have been here many times and always enjoy it. It is so quiet even though it is on top of the airport. The staff are very good, especially in the restaurant, very helpful, and the breakfast is good although expensive. so eat up. Some of the rooms are better than others, some of them are getting a bit well used, and in need of a do up, but others are very good. Highly recommended for oldies like us, that are passing through Dusseldorf or going on to other places in Germany like we were. So very convenient, for the airport, the shops there, and the car hire.”
A few minutes walk from the main Dusseldorf railway station, and the Ryanair bus stop. About 30' walk to the old town, Altstadt; close to the Rhine for promenade. No restaurant/bar though the Mercure next door has one. Cold drinks may be obtained from fridge in lobby; night porter. Simple, adequate buffet breakfast with scrambled or boiled egg, until 10h00. Good location, great value.”
The hotel is clean, modern and reasonable size for a European hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with lots of variety. A good mixture of typical German and American breakfast items depending on what you are looking for. We stuck with German, after all that's why we're there. It is about a 10 minute walk from the central square and cathedral, however, a bit of a walk from the central train station. The area is okay but not far away it starts to look a little rough and we didn't venture that way.”
We stayed with 8 persons in Aken. The hotel is located in the middel of the city. The hotel was new renovated, the service very friendly. When we came for breakfast at 10 a.m. the kitchen refreshed the buffet. Top satisfying!”
We stayed in the All Seasons Hotel in Aachen for two nights while visiting the University there. We found each member of staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a real treat with such a variety of foods to choose from. The hotel was only a short walk from the main centre an all amenities. We look forward to returning to the hotel again sometime soon and would highly recommend it to others wishing to visit Aachen.”
Although the Balladins Superior Hotel was in an industrial area, it was ideally situated for our requirements of a short shopping break. There was a bus stop just outside the hotel which took us directly to a tram station and on to the middle of Dortmund and the Christmas Markets. The hotel itself was modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Also ideal for the business traveller as the airport is only a few minutes away. Would certainly stay there again and would recommend this hotel to others.”
Very nice hotel, conveniant location. Hotel staff were welcoming. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked good!”
Stopped over night in here whilst traveling across Europe back to the UK. Its cheap, clean and the breakfast was nice. It is situated in a business estate and im quite sure the majority of guests were on business. But if you need a comfy bed, a decent breakfast then this hotel offers great value.”
