Nice hotel. Very good service from the staff. The hotel could have had better maintanance (doors, drawers, lights where not in good shape), but overall impression was good. Large rooms and perfect location.”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree Victoria. Having flown into Gatwick and gotten the Gatwick Express into Victoria rather late in the evening it was wonderful to just cross the road and find our hotel and we were plesantly surprised when the receptionist offered us an up grade!! The room was spacious, clean and so quiet. (our room was to the back of the hotel). We ate at the restaurant and can certainly recommend their food. The portions were a little bit on the small side but can't complain as dinner was delicious.”
It's been 10 years since we last were in London ... We found the rembrant well placed near tube, museums ,Harrods, even the tour bus at our door .. We will diffently b usin the rembrant for our next stay ...”
Have stayed here many times. This time I stayed 5 days. Very convenient for Terminal 3 and Manchester. Always get a warm welcome from the reception staff, who are always ready to help with anything. Even the shuttle bus drivers are friendly. The rooms are always spotless and quiet. Really nothing more to say -- excellent all the way round and I hope to be staying here again in August.”
The stunning entrance reminds you of Roman building and once inside, the ornate tiled pillars and walls hark back to the days when money spent on detail was no option. This building could never be re created. Lovely staff and an easy non snobby atmosphere. Perfectly place for city centre and across the rd to the train station for Old TRafford football ground. High ceiling rooms, slightly tired decor but clean and a pleaseure to stay in.”
Being someone who has bright red hair i was impressed with the decor. All the carpets the pictures the ambience was my favourite colour.Cant praise the hotel highly enough.it certainly has the wow factor”
Hi, i loved the new rooms, really good standard & very clean. Food service slow at night time, to many bar & management staff hanging around & not giving support to the waiters. Management more interested iin the foodball match on that night.Shuttle service to airport & NEC is an excellent service”
Some modernisation taking place which involved an aroma of adhesive or some such substance. The upgrade was an improvement on our previous stays. I was disappointed to be charged for parking my car while staying there. I would expect that free for guests. Breakfast was fine, we had the continental.”
I stayed for one night in a smoking room, which was nice to have the option. The staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel is huge with over 800 rooms so can be a long walk to your room. They had a vanity mirror in the room which is useful for doing make up. There is a shower over the bath but it is fixed so no hand held option. The only real negative was paying 7 pounds to park my car which i wasn't expecting.”
This is a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were super clean and comfy, the breakfast was great and the location is superb. Top class and might I add spotless. Will definitely be back.”
Right beside the docks. First thing that we saw every morning were the Liver Birds! Close to the city centre a bit of walk but you do get to see some fabulous buildings. Plenty of buses around the docks to get from one place to another but its by trial and error. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Liverpool excellent service and staff.”
In a lovely setting surrounded by water and just minutes from Liverpool one with every shop you can think of. Next door to the Echo Arena so perfect for concert goers. Not luxurious but perfectly comfortable and great value.”
