This seems to be the best choice in Tlaxcala. The hotel itself is quite beautiful. The location is perfect in this small town. Tlaxaca is quite cold in winter, so bring a heavy sweater. It warms up by mid-morning. You should expect to freeze if you are having an early breakfast as there is no heat (a shame for a hotel of this quality). This was the only problem with this fine hotel.”
Business-type hotel in the outskirts. Faces the highway, try to ask for a room facing the opposite side cause the highway is loud. Rooms are clean. Nothing nearby except a mall next exit. About 20 minute drive from the center. Beware: we checked in late in the evening and the receptionist didn't want to give us a room because we didn't have a printed out "coupon" - have no idea what she meant. We told her it was a hotels.com electronic reservation, but she insisted on a paper. Eventually she called somewhere and let us stay till the morning when it would be sorted out. Weird.”
