I liked the place, very relaxed as we were there in the off season so there weren't many people on the island. Our room although comfortable had some black ants making a bit of a mess but apart from that all good. Heaps of wild life from Goannas, Gehkos to Kookas. Didn't see the staff that much, really only on check in and check out.

My brief business stay was trouble free with excellent views from my room, loverly food served promptly and all of my interactions with all staff friendly but very helpfull to my requests, I'm certainly making my next booking at The Marriot without hesitation on my next visit to Brisbane.

Impressed with the staff at reception, bar & restaurant. Watermark is conveniently located to the City and Spring Hill restaurants. The only negative point is the fact that some nearby apartment blocks have residents who we considered to be of direputable nature and walking in the side streets was not a good experience. Enjoyed the proximity to Roma St parklands.

QT is a great hotel in a fantastic location not far from the beach and Cavill Av. The rooms are great and the beds are amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Book a room with "Aqua" view, definitely worth it: you don't see the sea, but the river behind the hotel, which is great to contemplate. The hotel is not on the sea shore itself, but its location makes it really easy to go to the center of Surfer's Paradise, and the bus stop is almost just in front of it. Very happy with our stay there, would definitely go back there or in any of the Vibe hotels if they are all of the same standing.

Clean, convenient and comfortable. Great for the 70+ grey nomads who need all the above. We followed the instructions re bedding/sheet change but these were unnecessarily changed daily as were our towels. Loved our room on the 14th floor with views of lovely high rise buildings and all the way to the ocean. Extremely disappointed not to see the latest 'show' but hopefully we can come again when the new upgraded venue opens. This is one of the highlights of our visit. Hope to see you again soon. R&W

The Q1 Resort was magnificent. Apartment was fantastic, views north to north west were splendid. Could not have asked for anything more as our apartment was a pleasure to come home to each evening. 40th Floor location was fantastic. Will enjoy another trip back here again.

This Hotel is just perfect. Rooms are spacious, beds most comfortable. Do not understand complaints about the decor? Loved how clean the whole property was. Staff most helpful and my husband and I just felt very relaxed and peaceful. Pools are picture perfect and clean and so many of them. You can have your pick.Then there is a beach few steps away! Nothing to complain about, will probably stay there again. Golf course needs a bit of upgrade as well as gym. Would recommend especially since it's gradually refurbished, so it will cater to more modern tastes.

Great hotel for couples wanting to get away from it all. Beautiful private beach and grounds. The hotel is in a secluded area 15 minutes drive from Port Douglas. There are no other hotels or restaurants nearby. If you want to get back to nature and observe the wildlife with the help of the wonderful staff this is the place for you!

The best hotel pools ever and the rooms were clean and modern with adequate utensils to be self sufficient. I would not recomend the ground floor apartments as my one had no privacy what so ever without the blinds fully drawn. Many others appeared to have a similar problem.
