This is a fantastic hotel at a great rate. My only problem is that the street name was not on my GPS so it took a little while to find it. If any one encounters the same problem, it is on the main hwy heading out of Charlottetown towards the bridge to NB.”
Upon checkin the staff was very accommondating. I had 2 little dogs that had never stayed in a hotel room before and I was anxious about that. The staff reassured me that they would check on them and take them out if necessary. We only stayed one night but I think all staff on duty knew the dogs by name.”
Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable - enjoyed our stay. There was one issue that should be adressed-that being the cleaning staff, at our door prior 8am to clean the room - Whats up with that- I thought cleaning staff should get direction, from front lobby desk-(that is to say, as you check out, cleaning staff then come in) - In any event I was up and out of bed, before I wanted to be.(Cleaning staff should be reminded, that check out is 11AM-NOT 0745 Hrs.”
This is a very nice hotel. We flew in from AB and it was very easy to get to. Clean, friendly staff, we eat a very natural foods diet with no grains so breakfast wasn't good for us. The hard boiled eggs sitting in hot water for a time don't taste very good but the hotel itself was very good. We will definitely stay again as our daughter has taken a job in this absolutely beautiful province. Can't wait for lobster season. Yum Yum”
We had very spacious accommodation for our family of four. The staff were lovely and most helpful with suggestions re what to do in Charlottetown. Good coffee available all day and delicious home-made cookies in the afternoons and evenings. Would definitely recommend.”
The hotel is in an amazing location. We had an excellent room with a view of the waterfront. There was a bar fridge provided for us, which was a bonus as we had baby food us. The only wish I had is that the TV in the room is updated to a newer model, although we really didn't watch TV that much but only at night when we were relaxing before bed.”
We stayed for one winter night room was comfortable the front desk staff were wonderful helpful with directions and info re wireless ( thought it would be accessible without a password but they gave us the heads up upon arrival ) had a meal in the pub sorry we had ordered fr the menu rather than the buffet we noticed a table of locals arrived for the buffett and it looked great. Overall for a first time visit on a February day the place was great can only imagine how quaint it will be for a summer time stay.”
We were very happy with our accomodations in PEI. The staff also were very courteous. Would stay there again if the opportunity arises. It was after season when we were there but it sure must be nice in the summertime during peak season.”
very reasonable priced. good clean room and breakfast included”
our stay was very enjoyable While the hotel was a little older, is was clean and renovations were happening without affecting our stay. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool (the indoor pool area was rather hot). It was great that you could have a drink at the bar area overlooking the pool and watch children enjoying the pool. Pool was a nice size. The hallways within the hotel were lovely and huge, with several seating arrangements. Great places to sit and read or converse with other travelling companions. A nice area with fireplace to sit in colder weather. The breakfast eatery was perfect for a qiuick breakfast - the waffles were terrific. the restraurant next doot had faboulous food and grest hours. The "Gilbert and Anne " Play was great and in a lovely theater very close by. Over all a great stay in Summerside..”
Very clean spacious rooms. Continental breakfast was an added bonus I was not aware of when I booked the rooms. Very polite and helpful staff. Quiet and close to Holland college.”
