Team stayed here for a hockey tournament. Pro's: Complementary breakfast buffet, pool with waterslide, very friendly and helpful staff, free WiFi, newly renovated rooms and main areas, walking distance to shopping mall and several restaurants. Con: Rooms in (detached) motel section weren't as convenient for access to pool/restaurant etc. in winter weather!”
Was very happy with everything except the next morning around 8 (check out was 11) we moved some things to the van and when I cam back to pick the rest of our things - the maid was already in the room - not very impressed!!!”
The hotel itself is nice and clean. We thought the lobby area was cute, the staff was friendly, and our room had all the amenitites we needed. We had requested a room with a mini-fridge, and our request was met! The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. The only negative comment we have is that we were given a room with a double bed for 2 people. We would have liked a Queen bed, but then again, we didn't request a change of room as we decided that this was not a big deal at all. We enjoyed our stay and plan on going back in a few months with friends.”
My stay was very pleasant. My room was very clean and the breakfast was most convenient. Having a restaurant in the same parking lot was helpful as I didn't have a car. My suggestions.....some fresh fruit included in the breakfast and a bit more space in the rooms to work. I couldn't pull out the chair from the little table as the space was tiny. So, I had to move the chair to another side of the table which then blocked the bathroom door.”

We were very happy with our accomodations in PEI. The staff also were very courteous. Would stay there again if the opportunity arises. It was after season when we were there but it sure must be nice in the summertime during peak season.”
The rooms are a bit out of date and most sight seeing in PEI is close to Cavendish so although this hotel is lake front, there is not much to see or do in Summerside. The surrounding restaurants are expensive and not worth the price”
Don't stay here if it is between Christmas and New Years because the only places you can eat are fast food joints. Restaurants, even the one that is associated with this hotel, are closed. So its Tim Hortons, Wendys, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Subway. A crying shame.”
My only negatives would be that the breakfast is not included and the buffet next door was quite expensive for a family and that the hotel did not use fitted sheets which I personally find quite annoying. Because we were sightseeing we didn't use the pool or hot tub. I would have loved a room on the opposite side of the building. The view was breathtaking! They had live Celtic music on sight one evening.”
